New 2018 - A luxurious, modern ground floor apartment based in the heart of Kingsbridge, furnished & equipped to an extremely high standard. Large Sliding doors leading out onto the patio, overlooking the water with rural views. With a south facing aspect the property is airy & bright all year round, even on a dull day. Private parking outside the property. 5 minutes walk to town centre or 3 minutes to The Crabshell, water fronted restaurant and Bar serving the best Pizzas!
Creeks View is located on the ground floor of the main house. It has private parking and steps down to its own private entrance. The internal door is locked so this is a totally private apartment.
Kingsbridge has a great deal to offer and the location of Creeks View is very central but just enough to feel out of town for quiet time. Only 2 minutes walk is a lovely park with very cute cafe that serves a variety of delicious foods. The park has a tennis court and playing field. On the opposite side of the road is the embankment, great for a morning walk into town to grab a coffee or taking the children crabbing.

A beautiful lower ground floor suite finished to a very high luxurious standard. Open your own front into a light, good size sitting room, with all the amenities. A gorgeous double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Outside patio table and 2 chairs. Located at the top of this busy market town just 7 miles from Salcombe with parks, shops, cafes, restaurants and the water a stones-throw away. Perfect accommodation for couples but we also have a sofa bed so 4 guests can stay comfortably.
We have designed the suite to give maximum space to relax in. You enter your own front door into a bright and light sitting room. You will find a larder with fridge, kettle and toaster and a selection of teas and coffees to enjoy with fresh milk in the fridge. There is a selection of condiments with cutlery, bowls and plates also provided .Complimentary local Burts Chips and a glass of Prosecco await you on arrival. There is a large wall mounted TV and also an inner lobby area. Double doors through to a beautifully appointed bedroom with built in wardrobe where you will find hanging, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. There is also an area with a mirror and complimentary cotton wool, tissues and a make up/lotion product for your use. The double bed is made up with Egyptian Cotton bedding from The White Company. The ensuite shower room has underfloor heating , heated towel rail and The White Company towels and hand wash.
Kingsbridge is a lovely small friendly town. It is just 3 miles away from the nearest beach and 7 miles from the popular holiday town of Salcombe. Buses run regularly from Kingsbridge to Salcombe and also to Dartmouth, 12 miles away on the spectacular coastal road (if you have time to take this trip it is breathtaking).

This tidy and convenient flat has a large terrace, private entrance and plenty of parking. From our quiet sun filled valley location you can drive to many fantastic sandy beaches or there's a flat walk to town where you can catch a ferry to Salcombe . Use this as your base to enjoy local walking, biking, SUP, surf, kite, food & beer. The accommodation is open plan styled in a modern yet comfortable way. We have some cold beers waiting in the fridge for you as well as other treats & essentials.
The bedroom has a super king sized bed as standard, or this can be altered to 2 singles. We also have 1 fold out single bed. The linen is beautiful hotel quality Egyptian cotton. We use 4.5 tog duvets (John Lewis), but can swap to 9 tog if you prefer. We hope you will get a good nights sleep with our comfortable bed, blackout curtains, quiet location and fresh air vented gently into the bedroom. The flat is modern and light, with 45 sq mtrs of space to relax indoors and more outside. There's a kitchenette with breakfast bar and stools, and a comfortable seating area with 60" TV. A large flagstone terrace outside with table, chairs and planting around. We have plenty of parking & turning space in our car park infront of the flat. We can also offer space in our large garage to store and dry any sports clothing and all sizes of sports equipment by arrangement. We are pet friendly, but please do not allow your pets on the furniture or in to the bathroom. There is an outside tap on the side of the industrial unit before the flat that you can use to clean your pets. Please bring your own pet bedding and towels. We are immediately next door to a large field which is used as the council’s amenity space for dogs to run off their leads. There is stream adjacent to the footpath at the bottom of our car park area.
South Devon is an area of outstanding natural beauty and the sea is only 15 minutes away. There are quiet coves, super surf beaches and coastal walks. We have a map on the wall so you can easily identify the local places you may want to visit. There are also leaflets in the cabinet below to help you identify local amenities and find your way around. We are also happy to help with suggestions. Kingsbridge is a small market town with a population of approximately 4,500. Kingsbridge was owned by the Abbot of Buckfast, who in 1219 needed an outlet where the monks could sell their produce, so he petitioned the Crown for permission to hold a market at Kingsbridge and a Royal Charter was granted. It is now a vibrant town all year round, with many local facilities, for example as follows; 2 supermarkets (Tesco and Morrisons) A petrol station with a Spar shop that is open longer hours 3 banks (HSBC, Barclays and Lloyds) 2 Chemists (Boots and an independant) W H Smiths Various independent butcher shops, baker shops, kitchen shops, cafes (including Costa) and 2 delicatessens, Mayne Gallery, Harbour bookshop, Beacon Electrical shop 5 pubs (the Crabshell, the Seven Stars, the Creeks End, the Hermitage, the King of Prussia) and wine merchant Barrel and Still Various restaurants (Twenty Seven, The Old Bakery, Maharabat, Cafe Asia, Wild Artichokes, the Loft). The indian and the Chinese both offer a takeaway service. 3 Opticians (Kingsbridge Eye Care, For Your Eyes Only, Vision Express) South Hams Hospital (not 24 hours) and Norton Brook Medical Centre Quayside Leisure Centre (offering a swimming pool, badminton, fitness classes and a gymnasium) The Recreation Ground ( offering Boules, putting, table tennis, bowls and tennis) The Reel Cinema and Cookworthy Museum. 3 golf courses close by (Thurlestone, Bigbury and Dartmouth) Tourist Information Centre on the town quay.

Our lovely little compact home is a ground floor apartment available with courtyard area. 2 bedrooms,1 bathroom plus one en-suite showeroom off second bedroom. Sleeps maximum of 5 but not four or five single people. .Wifi, Bed linen and towels provided (one towel per guests). Centrally located in town, carpark opposite, Tesco's 2 minutes walk. Please note: This is also our second home which we use on a very regular basis so there will be our belongings and food in the apartment.
Please note: the maximum is 5 but that would be 4 adults (2 couples) and one child, it's more suited to 2 adult and 3 small children.the high sleeper is only suitable for a child not an adult. It's not suitable for 5 single people or people with limited mobility, the building Is grade two listed and has original staircase leading to the double bedroom, this is a carpeted and narrower, steeper and smaller than staircases of today's standards, please take this into consideration when booking apartment. The living area is small and is open plan with the kitchen area. We also have a travel cot so no worries about bringing your own plus a booster seat for chair, if you have little ones. Please note: This is also our second home which we use on a very regular basis so there will be our belongings and food in the apartment. Note: All duvets & pillows are feather and down, you are very welcome to bring your own if you are sensitive to feather and down, just please let me know and I’ll leave the fresh linen out for you.
Kingsbridge Farmers Markets Food and Drink You'll find everything you'd expect from a farmers market and more. Fruit and vegetables with as many as possible locally grown. A glistening array of fresh fish and crab landed locally. The smell of freshly baked bread and pastries still warm... The area is friendly and very central.

Apartament / aneks jest bardzo dobrze wyposażony w 2 sypialnie, 2 łazienki, kuchnię i salon z małym ogrodem na dziedzińcu. zapewnienie wszystkiego, czego potrzebujesz. Obie łazienki zostały wyposażone w wysokiej klasy wyposażenie i armaturę, której można się spodziewać w wysokiej klasy pokoju hotelowym, główne łóżko w sypialni jest tak wygodne i bardzo przytulne, w salonie i sypialni na dole znajdują się inteligentne telewizory z dostępem do sieci WIFI, aby zapewnić łączność , kuchnia jest idealna do gotowania małych posiłków, a dziedziniec jest świetny do złapania kilku dodatkowych promieni słonecznych pod koniec dnia.   • Zatrzymaliśmy się tutaj na dwie noce z naszymi trzema małymi dziećmi w drodze powrotnej do Londynu z Kornwalii. To było naprawdę wspaniałe miejsce na pobyt. Łóżka były bardzo wygodne, mieszkanie było błyszczące i miało wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy. Nawet małe akcenty, takie jak dostarczenie nam świeżego mleka i chleba, naprawdę pomogły po długiej podróży. Nie zawahalibyśmy się polecić innym lub zatrzymać się ponownie. Bardzo podobało nam się zwiedzanie okolicy.

    My lovely SELF-CONTAINED , town centre apartment, unique with a ‘secret’ garden with BBQ; suits a couple + one medium well-behaved dog. It has a large kitchen/diner/lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Fully equipped with towels and bed linen provided and 100m from a range of local independent food, other shops, pubs, cafés, bistros and monthly farmers markets. Kingsbridge is easy reach of Dartmoor, the Coastal Path and lovely towns such as Dartmouth, Totnes and Tavistock.
    The apartment is for couples only and one well-behaved dog. The kitchen is fully equipped providing everything you need if self-catering; the lounge diner is fully furnished with a TV, DVD/CD/record collections and players. There is no on site parking but you can offload outside. We provide parking information in your Accommodation Guide, emailed before you arrive. Access to the entrance is via a small set of steps and through a side door, down the side passage to the rear door. There is modest covered outside yard with table and chairs but the best thing is our ‘secret’ walled garden, accessed up a flight of steps and across our neighbour’s patio. (Probably not suitable for the less physically able.) We are joint and very amicable freeholders with our upstairs neighbours and we have right of access. In the garden we have a small Weber BBQ, with table and chairs on a patio. BBQ coals are provided but should be replaced if used together with leaving the BBQ pristine clean. The garden is ‘relaxed’ and is not manicured. We love it. We provide a detailed guide to the apartment and local facilities.

    A newly refurbished luxury two bedroom flat with interesting features, fixtures and fittings. The building was once a farming supplies shop and is in a charming position near the centre of town, a stone's throw from the beautiful estuary and the bustling high street full of independent shops and restaurants. The flat is filled with quirky and fun features, such as the 1980's Amstrad Hi-Fi for guests to play all their old vinyl, an old typewriter and telephone to play with and many more.
    The flat has a comfortable double bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. The sofa also converts into a further double bed. The living area has a smart TV and retro hi-fi system for guests to enjoy, and is open to the stunning newly fitted kitchen. The kitchen has a fitted dishwasher, but no washing machine as there is a launderette just 100 yards down the road for guests to use. Flat 2 has it's own parking space adjacent to the flat. A travel BBQ is for guests to enjoy, our recommendation is to take it to one of the stunning beaches situated within a few miles of the property, or chill out in Duncombe Park, a lovely amenity only 200 yards away from the front door.
    Kingsbridge is in the heart of The South Hams, one of the most picturesque places in the South West. Kingsbridge is situated on a pretty estuary, and the high street and quay area are full of independent shops and restaurants, with a farmers market every Saturday. The well-known surf spot at Bantham is only a ten minute drive, and beaches at Bigbury, Hope Cove, Salcombe, South Milton and Thurlestone are all within a half hour drive. The bustling shops of Totnes, Salcombe or Dartmouth are close by, and a trip to the wild and breathtaking walks on Dartmoor is no more than 20 minutes away. Kingsbridge boasts numerous pubs and restaurants as well as a leisure centre and two parks, all within an easy walking distance from the flat. An evening stroll along the estuary will take you to further pubs/restaurants and some wonderful spots by the river to set up your BBQ.

Dom Jonny'ego został właśnie odnowiony i można było powiedzieć, że była stylistyczna łazienka, dwie przytulne sypialnie oraz przestronna i funkcjonalna kuchnia / salon. Lokalizacja była świetna, zaledwie kilka minut spacerem od centrum miasta, ale także miejsce parkingowe, które przyszło bardzo przydatne. Świetna komunikacja od Jonny'ego od początku do końca, zawsze reagowała szybko i sprawiała, że cały proces był bardzo łatwy.

    This lovely one bedroom apartment is set in one of Salcombe's most iconic buildings right in the town's centre. The well equipped apartment comes with use of the heated waterfront swimming pool (22nd May to 31st October only) communal gardens and also benefits from on-site parking (1 space) and boat mooring (5m max.). Salcombe offers a range of shops, bars and restaurants and is in close proximity to the many breathtaking beaches and miles of coastal path. Strictly no dogs or smoking allowed.
    A stunning bright and airy garden flat that opens out into well presented Communal Gardens adjacent to The Salcombe Estuary. The one bedroom flat comprises of a large open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area with sliding glass doors that lead out on to a private patio with outdoor table and chairs to accommodate up to 6 people. The bedroom, which also has sliding door access out on to the private patio and enjoying stunning views of the estuary, comprises of 2 single beds (which can be separated or pushed together for a couple) and a full size bunk bed, ideally suited for children. A travel cot can be arranged under separate request. There are 2 x further pull out beds in the lounge area, again this could be arranged under separate request but you would need to bring your own bedding for these. There is plenty of drawer space available in the bedroom and further hanging and shelving space available in the store cupboard. The bathroom has been recently refurbished and includes toilet, sink and a large walk in shower. There is also a mirrored cabinet for your toiletries to be stored, shaving plug and heated towel rail. We supply bath and hand towels as well as flannels and tea towels. However, we do not supply beach towels and would ask that you bring your own for use of the beach and swimming pool. There is WiFi available in the flat, a Smart TV, CD player and various books and games for adults and children. The outside private patio leads straight in to the Communal Gardens where you will find the heated swimming and paddling pool (22nd May to 31st October only) and access to the pontoon where you will have your very own boat mooring (5m max.) There is a water sports store next door to the flat if you need to store any equipment such as life jackets, kayaks, paddle boards etc. There is also a restaurant within the block of apartments that overlook the gardens called 'Dick and Wills', perfect for a sunset drink or dinner overlooking the water. The flat can be accessed either through the main building reception or through the garden. On arrival, please sign in to the register in the main reception with your car registration number. The gardens are completely secure and can only be accessed via a locked door either end of the garden. There is a separate shower and toilet available to be used by the swimming pool, these are shared with other guests. There are also further toilets found in the main reception. There is a laundry room available which is shared with other guests, this is located just down the corridor from the main reception. In here you will find coin operated washing machines and dryers.

Further afield are South Devon Chilli Farm and Avon Mill Garden Centre near Loddiswell, where you can savour a delicious home-made such before taking a stroll through the woods along the River Avon. Salcombe offers a wide range of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops providing local produce whenever possible. Sample a Devon pasty, a cream tea, locally caught crab, Salcombe gin and Salcombe Dairy ice cream and chocolate - yummy! There is a large selection of national designer clothing shops and excellent independent retailers selling clothing, shoes, accessories and fashion jewellery. On Fore Street, Union Street and Island Street you will find an interesting mix of photographic and art galleries exhibiting a variety of work from local artists , alongside a children's soft play area and Salcombe Gin distillery, where you can even make your very own bottle of gin.     Just a short stroll from the main town centre of Salcombe. 10 minute walk down the hill but 10/15 minute walk back up. Its not a major problem but note the hill is steep. Close enough to enjoy the activity of the town but far enough away to escape and find peace should you need. Less than a minute away from the local spar store and post office.

Walk over the hill or along the beach at low tide for local seafood at Britannia at The Beach reopens in Spring...or try the Cricket Inn at Beesands. Stokeley Farm Shop and cafe is one mile up the road and 3 miles towards Kingsbridge is Ashby's Easy Stores "emporium" selling just about everything.....and fuel! And for the walkers try the coast path to Start Point Lighthouse the viewers are Fantastic.     3 Bayview is a dreamy retreat on the seafront of Torcross. An amazing place to explore the treasures of South Devon, including the extraordinary biodiversity of Slapton Ley, the seals of Start Point, and if we're lucky again this year, the marvellous sight of the Slapton Humback Whale. Great food within a stone's throw and a hot shower so close to the water's edge that you can step out in your towel for a swim and then scramble back inside to warm yourselves up again!
    Guests are effectively provided with 2 rooms for the price of 1. The double bedroom faces out onto the sea-front and there's an adjacent twin bedroom. The rooms come with their own bathroom, shower and toilet, and there's shared use of the kitchen, which includes a dining table (seats 6), television and also faces out onto the sea.
    On top of being an extremely picturesque and popular beach, Slapton Sands plays an important part in the survival of some of the UK’s rarest flora and fauna. So if you’re looking for a cracking beach holiday with the opportunity to do a little bit of exploring on the side, Slapton Sands should be on your list of ‘must visit’ destinations. Slapton Sands' Past If you like your scenery to have a bit of history then Slapton Sands has a very moving story attached to it. In 1943, the beach was taken over by the allied forces to use as a rehearsal area for the D-Day Landings. Unfortunately, a combination of live ammunition and poor visibility resulted in the deaths of 749 American servicemen. You can visit a stone monument which was set in place on Slapton Sands to commemorate the ill-fated ‘Operation Tiger’, along with a Sherman Tank at nearby Torcross. Slapton’s Sands' Present Today, Slapton Sands is a beach where families and friends can enjoy great holidays. South Devon’s Mediterranean style climate means that the sea is safe, clean and calm, and there are plenty of water sports such as surfing, windsurfing and canoeing to try out. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months and there is a flag system in place telling you where it’s safe to swim and when to stay out of the water. You can pick up a flag guide at the local Post Office or check local websites including the RNLI for details. If you get peckish and have forgotten to pack the sandwiches, there’s a beachside café serving drinks and light refreshments and Slapton Sands has facilities for anyone with mobility restrictions, with disabled beach access and toilets. If you want to bring the dog, you’ll be pleased to hear that Slapton Sands is a dog-friendly beach, allowing dogs throughout the year. Many visitors come to observe wildlife in the Nature Reserve. Throughout the year the plants and animals living in the freshwater lake, Slapton Ley, vary according to the seasons, giving you the chance to see something different every time you come.
