Restauracja serwująca dania kuchni południowych stanów USA
“Commander's Palace, nestled in the middle of the tree-lined Garden District, has been a New Orleans landmark since 1893. Known for the award-winning quality of its food and its convivial atmosphere, the history of this famous restaurant offers a glimpse into New Orleans' storied past and has been the go-to destination for Haute Creole cuisine and whimsical Louisiana charm. The winner of seven James Beard Foundation Awards, Commander's Palace has evolved into a culinary legend. Now under the watchful eye of co-proprietors Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan, the Brennan family's dedication to perfection has never wavered. A steady parade of renowned chefs - Emeril Lagasse, Paul Prudhomme, Jamie Shannon, and now Tory McPhail - have made Commander's Palace the world-class restaurant what it is today and its leading-edge Haute Creole cuisine reflects the best of the city.”

“This restaurant has perfected the donut, and not just any kind of donut. Each morning the owners create 6 new donut flavors (look them up on Instagram for a tease). If you aren’t in the mood for a decadent donut, try one of their delicious sliders (they are always creating something new) or iced coffee. You can’t go wrong at this fun place. Favorites: Any donut, Fried chicken slider, iced coffee ”

“In the charming Garden District, oak-shaded streets are lined with a diverse mix of homes, from single-story cottages to the grand historic mansions and lavish gardens of St. Charles Avenue, on the Mardi Gras parade route. Leafy Lafayette Cemetery is filled with ornate, 19th-century tombs. Boutiques and antique shops sit alongside fine-dining restaurants, casual cafes and local bars on and around Magazine Street.”

“Located in a drop dead gorgeous old brick structure dating from the 1880's. Everything is scrumptious, and the chef shows his/her commitment to local and seasonal produce. I like sitting downstairs near the bar--it's got a whole lotta charm. ”

“Large sportsbar and ground zero for St Patrick's Day celebrations Uptown. Full bar and decent beer selection. Kitchen. In season, don't miss the crawfish truck parked outside and the raw oyster shucker out front. Trivia: the sign & name was borrowed from a previous 1930's bar in same location. Current operator Jeff had the sign in his shed and finally got to restore and hang it when he had the opportunity to lease the space. ”
