Point of Interest
“The Pine Bar Bureau of Land Management Recreation site is actually located mid-way between Grangeville and Cottonwood, Idaho. This is a lovely 45 minute drive from Dog Bark Park down a canyon of fantastic basalt cliffs with the road dead-ending at the mighty Salmon River. Best time of day during the summer to go here is in the cool of early morning or evening. Sandy beach for wading (caution about swimming due to strong current & cold water). Rocky beaches also for climbing on & exploring. This canyon area was inhabited by indigenous people 15,000 years ago.”

Restauracja
“Go here for an experience that will delight. This is where the locals go for anything beef - from burgers (don't order a double patty burger unless you're half the size of Texas) to steaks to their famous Taco Tuesdays. The hospitality is fantastic. This is the place to meet locals - from farmers to loggers to cowboys & just all around nice enjoyable people. The six mile drive from Cottonwood is beautifully rural with that stepped back in time by 40 or 50 years feel.”
