The house is located for easy journeys by road and public transport ( bus and train) to picturesque Loch Lomond and Helensburgh as well as trendy and historic Glasgow

    Half house share in a modern detached villa with unobstructed sea views. Styling is modern/ contemporary and includes use of large upstairs lounge which opens on to a huge balcony which has dining table that can seat 8 and a large comfy outdoor corner couch. Views are over to the island of Cumbrae (Milport Beach) with Arran behind, and overlook the marina too. I live here with my husband Steve and use a different lounge from our guests. The guest lounge and Main bedroom both have 50 inch tvs.
    Our villa is unique because of its position, unobstructed sea views overlooking the islands. There is a sailing school at the marina and across the water on the island of Cumbrae. On Tuesday and Thursday evening you will see many Lazer and Optimist yachts from the sailing school on the waters infront of the house.
    Largs is a very picturesque tourist town on the west coast of Scotland about 40 minutes from Glasgow. The coast has many islands where you can day trip by private boat or ferry. Cycling and walking is also very popular along the coastal paths. There are many gift shops, cafes and bars in town along with a very picturesque promenade to stroll along.

Large traditional rather quirky cottage kitchen with Welsh dresser, Belfast sink, Rayburn stove and gas cooker, leading to courtyard and pretty sloping garden. Upstairs one twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and sea view, double bedroom with sea view and a single bedroom looking towards back garden. Extra single bed can be added. All linen and towels provided. Very comfortable home. Great location on Shore Road, a few minutes walk to local pubs, co-op supermarket, cafe, Holy Isle ferry and bus stop. Car park across the road.

Lokalizacja jest świetna, z widokiem na Świętej Wyspy, ale w samym sercu Lamlash, z restauracji i sklepów i morza wszystkie chwile. Od swojego domu Sherie i Andrzeja, a przez większość roku B i B, jest fantastycznie dobrze wyposażony i przytulny. To był nasz pierwszy raz w Arran. Nasze 8 i 10 lat bardzo się podobało - Lamlash to świetne miejsce na oparcie dla całego Arranu - Najlepsze bity dla nas odwiedzały Świętą Wyspę, Kozioł Fell, Machrie Moor, spacer wąwóz z Lochranza Center, ceilidh w Lochranza Village Hall, latające ptaki drapieżne na trasie Mogabout i zeskakiwanie z molo (przynieś swoje pianki!) ... i kurczaki oczywiście! Czuliśmy się bardzo mile widziani i już tęsknimy za miejscem! Dziękuję Sherie i Andrew - wrócimy x

  • Jest to fantastyczny dom na pobyt w Lamlash - zaledwie 10 minut jazdy od promu, ale nadal cicho, z odpowiednią ilością restauracji, sklepów i rzeczy do zrobienia, nie będąc zbyt głośno lub zajęty. Lokalizacja domu jest idealna - uwielbialiśmy widoki ze stołu jadalnego lub siedząc w ogrodzie z piwem - niesamowity widok na morze i Świętą Wyspę. I wszystko w zasięgu ręki - apteka na spray do midge, restauracje i supermarket. Szczególnie podobało nam się, jak przytulny jest dom - salon jest piękny i relaksujący, a kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Dzieci uwielbiały ogród, kury, plac zabaw i plażę. Fantastyczny dom z dala od domu.

  • Uwielbialiśmy nasz pobyt w Arran, imprezy ze względu na komfort Ivybank. Raeburn i woodburner były świetne! Wszystko było bardzo dobre. Być może matrasses mogą być wygodniejsze. Mieliśmy szczęście z pogodą, w większości suchą, a nawet słoneczną. Widok z Ivybank jest niewiarygodny! Mieliśmy regularny kontakt z Sherie, przez pocztę i telefon. Gdybyśmy mieli problem, sądzimy, że Sherie spróbuje nam pomóc!

  • Ivybank był prawdziwą ucztą. Mieliśmy miejsce dla siebie. Sam dom ma wszystko, czego potrzebujesz. Naprawdę odprężyliśmy się z łatwością w nasze wakacje. Uwagę Sheriego skupiła na szczegółach - zostawiła nam wiele użytecznych informacji i upewniła się, że wiemy, gdzie jest wszystko. W kuchni było wszystko, co potrzebne i był bardzo ciepły i gościnny. Z pokoju roztacza się widok na piękny dziedziniec i ogród. Salon był wygodny i miał dużo miejsca na relaks. Obiekty były wspaniałe. Wisienką na torcie były spektakularne widoki. Wszystkie pokoje z przodu mają wspaniały widok na morze i wychodzą na Świętą Wyspę. Czas upłynął szybko, doceniając ten pogląd. Lokalizacja była idealna - w pobliżu Co-op, piekarni, barów i restauracji. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, była to idealna baza do naszej regularnej podróży do Arran. Sherie i Andy byli idealnymi gospodarzami - zadzwonili, aby upewnić się, że wszystko jest w porządku i zorganizowaliśmy dla sąsiada, żeby wpadł sprawdzić, czy mamy wszystko, co potrzebne. Lokalizacja jest idealna, w samym środku Lamlash, z wszystkich restauracji, barów i sklepów, zaledwie kilka minut spacerem od plaży i po drugiej stronie ulicy. Jestem wczesnym ptaszkiem i oglądanie wschodu słońca z salonu i okien sypialni było prawdziwym wydarzeniem, podobnie jak prawdziwy ogień w godzinach wieczornych. Z tyłu ogród jest stromo pochylony, ale wspinaczka na szczyt jest tak warta, jak widoki na zatokę Lamlash i na Świętą Wyspę są spektakularne. Kurczaki Sherie żyją na samym szczycie ogrodu i zaszczyciły nas 2 pysznymi jajami, kiedy tam byliśmy. Ogród i miejsce parkingowe są wspólne z osobami przebywającymi w sąsiednim domku, więc kilka razy musieliśmy parkować po drugiej stronie ulicy w pobliskim bezpłatnym parkingu, ale to naprawdę nie był problem.

Boasting ample parking and facilities it is an ideal space for holiday, corporate get aways, wedding parties and much more The house is thought to date back to 1840 and was used in World War II to house evacuees from central Glasgow. Today this stunning home is available for a luxurious short breaks. The grand entrance is the first thing you will notice entering this amazing luxurious space. The billiard room is magnificent space to relax play snooker or darts. Adjoining the billiard room is the conservatory with sliding patio doors and a hot tub for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden views. The living room is a great space for relaxing with friends and family. The herringbone polished wooden floor and carved wooden fireplace add a unique character to this space where you can watch TV or play one of the games consoles provided. . To the rear of the ground floor are the study, dining room and kitchen. The study serves as a home office where you can catch up on those all important emails or conference calls that still need to happen. The dining room is the ideal space for a home cooked meal prepared in our traditional large kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. The first floor landing lovely and bright due to the large window and the floors here remain tiled. There are five substantial bedrooms on this level and a family bathroom. The two principal bedrooms enjoy the best views over the marina and have good en suite facilities. These rooms have been dressed beautifully and boast stunning views from their seating areas. The gardens of Duneira are magnificent. . The front gardens are predominantly south facing and are principally lawned with some magnificent mature trees including Scots pine and weeping willow. The gardens are private and sheltered. The large circular driveway provides ample parking for guests. Around the back of the garden there is a secure dog run and there is also a kennel in the garage- dogs are permitted in the kennels but strictly no pets in the house!
    Rhu is a pleasant village on the north side of the Gare Loch where many lovely homes and gardens are found along a belt of low shore. Its friendly community is centred around its church, primary school and yachting life with the bustling Rhu Marina home to many fine craft. There is testing sailing on offer on the Firth of Clyde with quick access to the waters of the West Coast of Scotland, acclaimed as some of the finest racing and cruising grounds in the world.The neighbouring town of Helensburgh (1.7 miles) has been regarded as one of the West of Scotland’s most desirable towns for well over a century, since wealthy Glasgow merchants first began to build houses here. It offers excellent amenities including golf, bowling, specialist shopping, supermarkets, a swimming pool. Some of Britains most spectacular scenery is around the Loch Lomond area. The loch is crossed by the Highland boundary fault and the physical characteristics of lowland and highland Scotland can be seen within a few miles of each other.

    Our holiday Home is an attractive spacious detached villa in the beautiful coastal town of Largs. It is 5 minutes stroll to the sea front and a further 5 minutes into the centre of the town. It is a very popular tourist town and is ideally situated to explore the many islands off the West Coast. Cumbrae is the nearest island and is only a short 10 minute ferry journey away from Largs town centre. The island has an outdoor water sports centre, cycle hire and great walks to enjoy.
    Tigh-na-Ligh can accommodate 11 guests. Our Villa boasts 5 en-suite bedrooms over two floors. On the ground floor, one standard double and one triple with standard double and single beds. The first floor has two standard doubles and one twin. All bedrooms have a large Flat screen T.V. with freeview channels, hairdryer, walk in shower, and are provided with fresh bedlinen and towels. There is also a cot and highchair for an infant on request. For smaller groups and families that will not use all 5 bedrooms we can discount the price accordingly, on request. There is a spacious lounge with a 42 inch flat screen TV and separate dining room, both of which can seat up to 11 guests and have living flame gas fireplaces. A separate games room has a full size Pool table. A separate bathroom with bath is adjacent to the living areas. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you would need to cater for large groups and families; 7 burner Gas Hob, 2 Ovens, Grill, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Toaster and Kettle. The separate utility room has a Large Washing Machine and Large Tumble Dryer. An ironing board and iron are available upstairs in the storeroom. A selection of books, DVDs and board games for both children and adults are available for you to enjoy. The secluded private garden with patio, garden furniture and barbeque is child safe. The villa has enough private parking spaces for up to 6 cars which is a huge bonus in Largs!
    We are a mere 5 minute stroll to the promenade where you can enjoy spectacular views of the islands of Cumbrae, Arran & Bute. The Cumbrae ferry will take you on a 10 minute journey where you can explore the island on foot, by car or bicycle. Largs town centre is a short 10 minute walk, where you will find a wide selection of fantastic cafes and restaurants. A beautiful scenic stroll along the promenade will take you past the Pencil to Largs Yacht Haven with its lovely cafes and restaurants.

    Garelochhead lies at the head of the Gareloch, approximately 8 miles north-west of Helensburgh, with Loch Lomond a few miles to the east. Helensburgh is the nearest major town and is regarded as one of Scotland’s most desirable places to live, with excellent local shopping, a swimming pool, golf course and Rhu Marina nearby.

The nearest pub is only three miles down the road in Kilchrenan. Taynuilt with its grocery shop, butcher, post office, hairdresser, train station and cafe is only 7miles away. Lots more shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and of course the ferries the the isles are 30minutes drive away in Oban.

Przyjemne śniadanie na słońcu dostosowane do naszych życzeń i dostarczone z uprzejmą notatką. Wieczorem Sam zapalił nam kominek, gdzie mogliśmy usiąść z pięknym widokiem na morze.     Craggan House Villas are located in Lochearnhead which is nestled within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and allows access as a gateway to the Highlands.
    There are so many things to do in this area of Scotland. Visitors can spend a day visiting small villages, enjoy cruising on a Loch in a historic steamship, rent a canoe or kayak, see Rob Roy’s gravestone, go climbing, biking, fishing and skiing is also close by in the Winter months. Even go wild at an aerial adventure park or hidden highland Safari. If you enjoy hiking, there are a number of short and moderate hiking paths to enjoy here. Scotland’s popular long distance paths which you could combine with a visit are the West Highland Way, Three Lochs Way and Rob Roy Way. Or just relax and watch the sunset and the wildlife go by. You could see a variety of wildlife such as Red Deer, Golden Eagle, Red Squirrel and Osprey. Loch Lomond itself is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area. You really will be spoilt for choice.

The property is a mid 19th century listed building with many original features and a beautiful walled garden. Depending on the time of year, you might enjoy fruit from the garden.
    Beith is a small quiet rural town just 20 miles from Glasgow and 20 minutes to the North Ayrshire coast and the ferry to Arran. There are 2 double rooms (not twin) at the property. This room has an private ensuite shower room with W/C. The other room has a private bathroom & shower. This ensuite room overlooks a walled garden and beautiful old church. The church bells ring every hour. This room benefits from 2 windows with original wooden shutters. The very comfortable king size bed has lovely pure cotton bedding & an electric blanket for cozy nights.
    Beith is a small quiet rural town, ideally located for exploring Ayrshire and the nearby islands of Arran & Millport. Lochwinnoch RSPB Nature Reserve is within easy reach, as are Kilburn Castle, Muirshiel & Eglington Country parks.

We are located in Hunters Quay, few steps away from Western Ferries and walking distance to Kirn. Dunoon is 5 min by car, app. 15 min by public transport and 30 min by walk. Nature is all around, you don’t have to travel far to experience hiking, cycling, water sports (you can borrow our paddle boards), or you can just simply enjoy the view from our bench and sip a cup of coffee. We do not provide TV's in our home, but we have plenty of books to read, a record collection to listen to, board games, darts and billiard. We are happy to help you plan your holiday to make your stay as perfect as possible.
