Dan y Coed is a self catering holiday accommodation set in a quiet village location. Only 2 minutes from J45 of the M4, and within easy reach of the Gower Peninsula and the Brecon Beacons. We are only a 5 minute drive away from the Liberty Stadium. The flat is ideal for couples, friends, solo travellers and for business travellers.
The flat is fully self contained with its own separate access. It has a light and spacious lounge, twin bedroom, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen.

It’s a lovely, spacious 2 bedroom apartment. I only let it out when I am away as it is my “castle”. It is located right across from Llandarcy Sports Academy, 5 minutes from Neath and just 15 minutes from Swansea. Really easy access to the M4.
There is a a king size bed in the main room with private bathroom and then 2x single beds in the second room also with a private bathroom. Large kitchen, diner and living area. Comfortable and relaxing.
We are very close to Llandarcy sports academy and David Lloyd’s. Both 100m away. Close to the M4 for easy access. 5 mins drive to Neath and 15 mins to Swansea.

Cheerful bright one bedroom self contained Annex (suitable for self-isolation for key workers) with funky spiral staircase. Enter flat through private entrance into the kitchen / dining room. The spiral stairs lead up to a small double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Located in Mount Pleasant - just above Swansea city centre. Walk 12 to 15 mins down the steep hill to get to the shops, restaurants, bus station etc.
Ideal for guests travelling alone, for work or pleasure visiting the Swansea area; or those needing to self-isolation for a while. Not suitable for children. The kitchen / dinning room has a drop leaf table with folding chairs. (NB There is no TV). The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery and basic cooking utensils. Items for a simple breakfast to get you started are supplied (milk, tea / coffee, bread, spreads, jams etc).
The neighbourhood has been described as student shabby but improving. There's a small local shop (Londis) around the corner and a bakery for a filled baguette or fresh loaf in the morning. A Chinese Takeaway is a one minute walk away for an easy evening meal. Further eating options are on Walter Road (about 8 mins walk down the hill) and more possibilities and variety in the trendy Uplands area, which can be walked to in 17mins.

Dostarczyła mleko i chleb między niektóre herbatniki i inne kawałki, i nic nie było dla niej zbyt wielkim problemem. Fantastyczna komunikacja, a nawet dała nam bezczelną butelkę szampana i doładowała nasze mleko i chleb !! Lokalizacja również świetnie, tak blisko mariny, miasta i plaży. Nie mogłem tego winić.     Our flat is based on the lower ground floor of a City house only two blocks from the centre and also just a short walk to the main Swansea Bay. We offer a light & bright, cosy and clean accommodation for short or longer stays at a great price. Great for business and leisure visits to the centre of the city. Gas central heating is available the boiler is in the living room for you to turn up or down as you prefer. The main train station is also walking distance, as is the main bus station which can take you to explore further afield to more of the beaches and delights of the Gower
    Carlton Tce is two blocks from the The Kingsway, the central boulevard in the city which has recently been updated. You will be very close to shopping, nightlife and the beaches, all are a short stroll. We would recommend a visit to nearby Mumbles (transport needed as a 10 -15 min drive) and the trendy area of the Uplands is always good for bars, cafes etc. (10 min walk) We also recommend a visit to the historic indoor Swansea Market located right in the middle of the City offering locally caught cockles, Welsh pasties and most importantly Welsh Cakes! The quirky Cinema & Co offer films with popcorn, fizz & even a slice of pizza whilst watching on a deckchair, the LC2 is close by with all sorts of sport and swimming pool, Swansea Museum boasts their very own Egyptian mummy and the Waterfront Museum tells the story of Welsh life. There is so much to chose from. Access to arterial routes, the train and bus stations are good which helps you to explore much of what Swansea has to offer as easily as possible. Parking is available on street opposite the flat, and its free! ......best not to park in the resident parking bays, these are clearly marked!

    The apartment is wiped down with antibiotic wipes between guest stays. A fully-equipped 1-bedroom self-contained apartment, Swansea Central bus station is 12 mins walk and the town Centre. It is up a steep hill if you're not driving and that's what provides the view.     This converted Victorian House on Swansea's famous, cobbled, Constitution Hill contains apartments that are tenanted by professional and mature individuals. It is peaceful, but also not too far to walk to the Grand Theatre and the pedestrian precinct.
    The City of Swansea, population 250,000 is just large enough to have a bit of something for everyone, theatre, music, dining, a museum or two and of course, football team! In one direction is the UK's first SSSI, the Gower Penninsula with castles and beaches, the Black Mountains and Carmarthen Vans in another and beyond them Pembrokeshire, where you can go dolphin watching to find the UK's largest resident pod of bottlenose dolphins. Due North(ish) is the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, fantastic walking country. And nestled centre-stage is Swansea.

If you're on holiday and have no intention of cooking, there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways in Swansea. There is a restaurant opposite the entrance and one on the top floor of the tower with amazing panoramic views! The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, with full length glass-door wardrobe and chest of drawers. The spacious lounge has comfortable sofas (including a double sofa-bed), flat-screen TV with Sky, Freeview and Netflix, and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing-machine and is well stocked with cooking essentials. The Bathroom has a bath with shower over-the-bath. The apartment is convenient for the City Centre, Grand Theatre, University campuses, Swansea College of Art, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Singleton Hospital, Liberty Stadium, marina and beaches. The local restaurants include the Grape & Olive with panoramic views, the Pescador and many others in the Marina. The City Centre is a 10-minute walk.     Our house has been professionally converted into two self contained flats, Ortari is on the ground floor. We are Perfectly located and within walking distance to Brandy Cove, Pwll Du and Caswell Bay, as well as being an easy drive or bicycle ride to every part of Gower, the furthest being only a 20 minute drive away, we have no idea how long by bike !! The lovely fishing village of Mumbles is just a 10 minute drive or a short trip on the local bus.
    The flat we are offering is on the ground floor and suitable for persons with mild mobility with only two low rise steps into the accommodation, and a 2 inch split level step between the lounge and dining room. A very spacious flat, it consists of a large lounge, dining room, fully fitted and equipped kitchen, excellent sized double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower cubicle. The flat has direct access to our back garden, from the kitchen.

The property also comes with 1 allocated parking bay and there are several visitor parking bays if you have 2 cars but visitor bays cannot be reserved.

    Our flat is a traditional ground floor flat just a block from the trendy centre of Uplands and backing onto Cwmdonkin Park, the haunt of Dylan Thomas. We have painted floorboards, stenciled kitchen floors, lots of rugs, original bath and lots of space! We also have gas central heating which helps keep you cosy during your stay, you can access the controls and vary it up as you wish. There is a double bed in the bedroom along with a bed settee in the living room which makes up a small double
    Our quirky flat is a large one bedroom flat with easily enough space for two couples (if one couple uses the sofa bed in the lounge). The flat has traditional painted tile and wood floor throughout with plenty of rugs, the living room has a large bay window looking out to the front of the house. If you are looking for a modern build, this is a traditional house with a lot of character. We are very close to the thriving amenities in the trendy Uplands area (without the noise!) of Swansea, which is walking distance to the city centre and offering a good base from which to explore mumbles and the Gower peninsula.
    Uplands has a lively centre which has become really popular with trendy cafes, including vegan, pubs, small clubs and music venues and is also the home of the Upands Diner! If you can eat the Beast you can have it for free!!!! Glanmor Crescent is a stones throw from all this activity but we are in a quiet location so a good nights sleep should be had by all! Cwmdonkin Park is located just a street from the flat where you can find tennis courts and lots of lovely flowers and greenery. Dylan Thomas, the Welsh poet, used to live around the corner, you can visit his house and have a cream tea in his living room! If you are lucky enough to stay when the Uplands Market is in full swing we would recommend a visit as they sell lots of Welsh produce including jams, chutneys, Welsh Cakes, blankets and much more! Great for the little souvenirs to take home!

Due North(ish) is the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, fantastic walking country. And nestled centre-stage is Swansea.

If you enjoy surfing, walking, eating out, exploring or simply putting your feet up in front of the wood burner, this is the perfect space for you.
    COVID-19 update We would like to put your mind at ease amidst all this craziness if you are considering a staycation. We pride ourselves on our level of cleanliness but have increased our already high standard during this time. Every soft and hard surface will be thoroughly cleaned and sterile when you arrive. If you want to escape and stay in, there’s plenty of wood for cosy nights, games, books, TV and Netflix to keep you occupied. In the local area, many of the bars, restaurants and cafes are taking extra precautions with sanitisation as well as opting to go cashless....lots of restaurants are even offering a new takeaway service. The vast stretch of the Gower gives you ample opportunity to create space for social distancing and absorb the calm of the waves. If you have any questions or special requests, please just ask. The Space We count ourselves super lucky to have a home so close to the beach so we chose to share it with like minded people. The Loft is a purpose built annexe stylishly decorated with everything you need from a perfect holiday hide out. If you’ve enjoyed a coastal walk, head back to the loft and cosy up on the sofa and light the log burner. On sunny days, grab yourself a drink and relax in the private enclosed garden which is a real sun trap! There are plenty of books and games as well as freeview TV and Netflix to keep you occupied if the weather is bad. If you are planning on staying in, you will find everything you need to cook yourself a meal (except the food ;))
    Langland Golf Club is a stone’s throw away. Watersports are available at the nearby beaches. The Mumbles is a short distance away where you will find restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. You’ll find 2 gorgeous beachside eateries on Langland Bay which is a 3 minute walk down the hill. The university and hospital are a 10 minute drive away so if you’re visiting family or coming to Swansea for work, this is a good place to relax and unwind.

Niestety nie mogliśmy się rozejrzeć, ponieważ moja żona trochę się rozchorowała, ale Jon pomógł nam w znalezieniu pobliskiego aptekarza. Gorąco polecamy to miejsce wszystkim.

Glamour Rd in Uplands is now a trendy residential area close to all the Uplands has to offer, the City centre, the Beach & Parks, The Gower and The Mumbles are all easily accessed Our flat has is just a short walk away from pubs, small clubs, music venues, cafes whilst having a quiet area to sleep at night The heating is all electric so you can switch it on or off as you wish!
    You will be on the first floor of the house, there are stairs up from the ground floor leading you into the kitchen at the rear of the house with a washing machine, electric cooker and fridge freezer.. The bathroom has a shower along with shower gel and shampoo. has a spacious lounge with two sofas and includes a four seat dining table and chairs, a double bedroom which is made up with fresh sheets and of course a hot water bottle for those with cold feet!
    The Uplands is a very popular residential zone which has become quite trendy over the last few years as it is also very close to the City centre. There are lots of local cafes including vegetarian and vegan, pubs, music venues and also supermarkets etc. There is also a Saturday morning market every month selling typical Welsh produce including jams, Welsh cakes and local paintings. We also recommend going to the historical indoor Swansea Market for a taste of Cockles, locally caught and Welsh cakes and a lovely roast dinner! Swansea Castle ruins are also in the City Centre just at the top of Wind Street with all the night life and clubs you could wish for!
