“ One Tree Hill, the largest parkland in Auckland, is the place where people has a lot to do with. You may climb to the summit to have a 360 view of the city. You may also follow the walkways to explore the different parts of the park. By the way, you will see sheeps and cattle. It seems like you are in a real farm. You could see different plants, flowers in different season. You could even pick up some fruits in autumn. ”

“Soul is in the heart of Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. The bistro prides itself on its use of the finest, freshest local ingredients and, as may be expected from its location, Soul has an emphasis on seafood. Its elegant all-weather terrace faces west to catch the spectacular sunsets, views out across the water that take in America’s Cup boats, super yachts, water taxis and even fishing boats.  Plus they host regular events such as their Soul Punch parties, fashion lunches with incredible New Zealand designers and Restaurant Month events that always sell out. ”

“Ask any Aucklander to point you in the direction of the hippest place to be seen and you’ll inevitably get a different answer each time. However, one place that does tend to crop up is Dizengoff – a Ponsonby Road favourite that, despite many comings and goings on the hospitality strip, has proved a bit of a mainstay. Caffeine and Ponsonby Road go hand in hand and the fact that Dizengoff makes a decent cup of coffee probably has much to do with its success. Truth be told, Dizengoff doesn’t do too much out of the ordinary. Its interior is slick and stylish – mostly white, offset by a stripped back wooden floor and some good art on the walls, brunch is the focus (after all, Ponsonby Road is a brunchers’ destination) and the offerings largely centre on eggs. So how then does Dizengoff attract such a following when it sounds little different to the next café down the road? The real difference lies in the fact that at Dizengoff they do the basics well. It’s a quality place with quality offerings and an excellent service experience. And it seems that no matter how many new places might come and go quality is what will always stand the test of time.”

“GOODNESS GRACIOUS | CAFE - Great quality bagels with fresh, tasty ingredients. They have a nice drink selection and the different bagels will have you coming back for more every time. This place can get rather crowded, best to get in early or go at a quieter time. Limited seating inside - the rest is outside on the pavement. Great breakfast option, awesome coffee too! Very close to home - suggest walking as parking can be a problem. www.goodnessgracious.co.nz”
