Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece. Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of several projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece. Other things to note This experience is for adults and children over the age of 14. If you have sensitivities to smoke and heat this may not be the experience for you.

During the trip, I will be providing insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and play for the best prices, including the places where locals hang out for free! We will discuss hidden gems that many people walk by daily without ever noticing an eagle overhead, the faces engraved on the wall, or secret mice! We will dive deeper into Asheville's "buy local" culture and what that means for companies who get listed as "sell-outs." We will also check out a cool museum called Leaf Global and taste local spirits from a distillery! At the end, my guest will get discount beer tickets to taste some local brews from one of Asheville's finest, local breweries called Twin Leaf. We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak on the French Broad! 21&up. We’ll meet you at White Duck Taco where you’ll leave your car and we will shuttle bus you to the starting point. This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our takeouts are riverside banks, not docks, so ability to get out of your boat and walk up a trail is required. A sample or two can be provided at the breweries, but bring your wallet to purchase beer and food.

Recipe for a perfect day: Floating down an ancient river, cooling your toes in the water, laughing with good friends... all within reach of award-winning breweries serving up fresh craft beverages and tasty treats. We start by meeting near Asheville's River Arts District, where your canoeing gear and friendly guide await. Canoe on a navigable but adventurous section of the French Broad River, where one of the oldest rivers on the planet passes by some of the best spots in "Beer City USA." We'll paddle up to a variety of Asheville's best breweries, eateries, funky riverside bars, and wading pools. Each trip will vary based on the weather, what is open, and what the folks in your group enjoy most. Most trips include 2 breweries, a couple of eating options, and depending on the day, a bonus brewery or winery. Non-drinkers will have plenty of sight-seeing options nearby as well. Depending on the time of year, we may see otters, beavers, herons, friendly ducks, and colorful fish. Other things to note You will enjoy this the most if you are comfortable with being on a river and are able to swim. Rapids are very mild (Class I at most). New for 2024: We are now dog friendly! Hike with a Llama/Enjoy Mountain Views at Earthshine Lodge
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind hike in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains with our friendly llamas! Hikers will learn about our famous llamas' interesting histories and how to safely handle the animals before heading out on a hike with gorgeous mountaintop views on our private trails. Each group gets 1 to 3 loveable llamas to share, depending on group size. There’s plenty of time for llama cuddles and, of course, llama selfies! Picture yourself meandering through the idyllic, mountain-framed grounds of an old 1000-acre dairy farm located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. On each side you’re surrounded by some of the most stunning flora in the Eastern US, including goldenseal and spring ephemerals such as trillium, may apple, and ramps. Please take time to read thru all details before booking. We will meet at front of farm house. We will start at the top of the field walking around our pastures, checking our fences along way enjoying the peacefulness that nature brings and heading into the forest and around the pastures up hills and forest where our highland cows reside. Sharing with you about out breed of cows and what they are known for. We will explore how they interact with each of us their mannerisms and irresistible cuteness. While circling the pastures we have other animals you may interact with that include 5 Scottish highland cows and their calves who were born during the year, our goats and our sweet rescue horse Eli &livestock guardian dogs. We will end our visit at the west pasture sharing treats with the animals and brushing the cows. Other things to note please Wear good closed toe tennis shoes for hike and clothes you may not mind getting dirty, to interact with animals. Hiking stick, jacket if cold, bottle of water. May not be a good fit- Disability or limitation of doing a moderate hike. Families with children 6 or younger message us privately to book we have a tour made specifically for little ones. Create a personal glass object in a hot glass workshop
I offer hot glass blowing classes at my studio in Hendersonville, NC. Classes are currently available for 2 participants at a time. Classes last for approximately 1.25 hours and each person would make one of three objects; Pumpkin, Oil Lamp or a double sided bowl. All work is continuously supervised by myself. The object is to be safe, have fun and create something out of glass. I've been blowing glass since the early 1990's and have been offering classes at my location at Horseshoe Gap Village in Hendersonville for the past 4 years.

Tip-Base River Art District Walking Tour
For years, the River Arts District or "RAD," has been a popular spot for visitors; however, many guests arrive asking: "What do we do once we arrive?" This tour hits the highlights and provides you with a hands-on RAD experience you will not forget and you pay what you want in the end! Starting at Magnetic Theatre, we walk down Depot Street to learn about the history of the RAD, the artists and visit ONE gallery. We will stop to tour the historical Grey Eagle Music Venue and taste Taqueria snacks! We will view glass blowing demonstrations at the NC Glass Center, then walk alongside the river, learning stories about the legends of the French Broad as well as a list of activities you can do on the river post-tour! 2pm tours finish on Foundy Street to learn all about the graffiti that covers the walls and the creative local businesses. Coffee and Tea Tour
What better way to start off a weekend in Asheville by joining us for morning coffee tours. We will visit 6 incredible and different coffee shops in downtown Asheville. This is a walking a tour and it is not pet friendly. We will meet at a coffee shop downtown and continue to other shops and try coffee by local micro-roasters, learn more about coffee, and learn about the history of Asheville. The tours begin at 10am Friday-Sunday, and you will meet inside Citizen Vinyl.
Paint spirit animal with guided meditation
We will do a guided meditation/shamanic journey to meet and interact with one of your spirit animals! This a very beautiful and peaceful practice that can be very therapeutic. I will guide you every step of the way so beginners are welcome! After that we will make a painting of the spirit animal you met! Again, I will guide you through the artistic process and help you create your own special masterpiece. We will paint with acrylic paints on an 11x14 canvas. You will leave with a renewed sense of peace and joy because when we can quiet our minds and connect with our inner spirit and nature, we feel that love and connection. And what better way to anchor that in than to paint it and take it home to remind us of that joy and peace and connection! This is great for kids! Great for Date Night! Goat Farm Tour & Cheese Tasting
(Please note that pricing is per person. Booking costs Start at $25.) Guests will be guided on a walking tour the goat farm, home to 60 goats. We will begin the tour by giving loads of information about goat care and dairy farming. Guests will have the option to play and interact with goats. You’ll definitely want to wear shoes that can stand getting dirty for this part. We will finish the tour with an elaborate tasting of the 10 fresh cheese varieties we make weekly on the farm. We conduct our tours rain or shine. We have spare umbrellas if needed.

During our tour, we will be sure to cover all major landmarks like the Basilica of St Lawrence, and the Grove Park Arcade, but we will also go off the beaten path to explore the Block, the YMI, Woolworth Walk's old-timey soda fountain, and Wall St's catwalk! During the trip, I will be providing insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and play for the best prices, including the places where locals hang out for free! We will discuss hidden gems that many people walk by daily without ever noticing an eagle overhead, the faces engraved on the wall, or secret mice! We will dive deeper into Asheville's "buy local" culture and what that means for companies who get listed as "sell-outs." Also, we will discuss stories of sabotage, controversy, and little-known success stories of previous residents! We will also check out a cool museum called Leaf Global and taste local spirits from a distillery!
