This new walking and cycling path has transformed a four mile stretch of disused railway line into an exciting new walking and cycling path running through Linear Park on the south side of Bath to the disused Devonshire tunnel (at Bloomfield), onto Combe Down tunnel, and then over the renovated Tucking Mill viaduct.
The route includes two brand new bridges and two enormous tunnels. At over one mile long, the Combe Down tunnel will be the longest cycling tunnel in Britain, and will feature an interactive light and sound installation.
The route links into the National Cycle Network with routes to Radstock and Bournemouth in the south, and the Bristol to Bath walking and cycling route in the west.
It also creates a scenic 13 mile loop between Bath and Midford, and back again via the canal towpath.

We are a farming family. We enjoy sharing our beautiful location with extensive views of Stourhead the Longleat Estate and Westbury Whitehorse.
W trakcie pobytu
Most of all we want you to enjoy your holiday with us.
It probably goes without saying that Hut on the Hill is a no smoking zone.
I'm sorry we don't have facilities suitable for dogs or children - although we love them.
Apart from that we aim to be easy going hosts and hope that you will leave things as you would like to find them.
