After a lengthy recovery period from a family and personal tragedy, I now work as an apartment locator in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The pandemic created further trauma to manage but I have worked hard to recover as much of my health and financial security as I can. At the end of the day, we can all only do our very best and hope that is sufficient to sustain us. I am so grateful to still be here, still be functioning, working and trying to succeed almost every single day. Life is precious and I am deeply lucky to still have a life to work on. Life is also extremely short. My days are marked by the deepest level of gratitude and a simple peacefulness born of survival...... and the straightforward will to never give up no matter what befalls me. I've been completely wiped out financially, put-down almost all the way physically...... and I've lost a daughter, which has nearly ended me. But I still remain. And I remain grateful.
