We have self contained unit downstairs in a quiet and leafy suburb of Mundingburra in Townsville.
It contains a Queen size bed and living / dining space, kitchenette with microwave, fridge and a counter top oven and separate hot plates. It is only 10-15mins drive / bus to the University, Hospital, City and the beach, with river view walk/bike pathways nearby. We have free NBN Wi-Fi.
More then 2 guests are an extra cost per night.

Hi, my wife, Karen and myself run 2 Airbnb spaces in our home.
We both work full time and are long time residents of Townsville after moving here in 1981 as a 2 year plan !!!! So we know North Queensland area very well and are keen to share it with the rest of the world
Both our sons have moved to Melbourne and we have a large friendly home we would like to share with our guests both local and international.
We have hosted 6 students for 11 months each thru the AFS Exchange Student Program over the years, and have visited 3 of them in Germany a few years ago and are hoping to visit another couple in Brazil soon.
We love good food and wine and sharing those with friends new and old.
I am also an active member of a local Rotary Club !!

We believe in treating others as we would like to be treated ourselves and trying to make our guest's stay as pleasant and rewarding as possible.

We look forward to catching up when you are next in Townsville.

Our 2 adult boys have moved to Melbourne and myself and my wife are semi-retired and enjoy meeting new and returning guests. Interaction is totally up to the guest. Happy to give you your peace and quite or have a chat / drink on our back deck and pool ... whatever works for you :)
