Experience a scenic drive to the house along the magical Neversink River. Enjoy 24 hour access to Walmart about 15 minutes away and a bodega just 7 minutes drive (the Forestburgh General store). If you want to explore any towns I’d recommend Barryville, Narrowsburg, or Callicoon. A few other great attractions include the Resorts World Casino, the Katrite Water Park, and the YO1 wellness center resort all within 15 minute drive from the house. In the winter there’s a beautiful little ski resort called Holiday Mountain in Rock Hill, NY. In summer, there are many lakes to explore, including the 9 mile long Swinging Bridge reservoir just 5 minutes from the house. This this reservoir is also a motorboat lake with two marinas offering boat rentals. There’s also a bald eagle preserve at the foot of this lake. Some excellent dining options in the summer can be found on White Lake and in winter head to Rock Hill for the best local cuisine.
