Cloisters of Kalangadoo, as it is now known, was in its previous life a 1914 Presbyterian Church which has been lovingly restored as a unique home away from home. Located in the quiet town of Kalangadoo, which is central to exploring all that the Limestone Coast has to offer. Intimate for couples, spacious for larger groups & families It has everything a holiday home needs to be relaxing, fun and a luxury retreat.

Kalangadoo is a small rural town situated of the main highway between Mount Gambier and Penola.
We have a small general store for basics, a rural store and petrol station.
On Saturdays from 10-1pm there is the weekly farmers market.
With limited grocery options it’s suggested to stop in Penola, Mount Gambier or Millicent on your way to The Cloisters to gather your supplies

Meet & Greet service included when possible during check in Hours 3pm- 7pm. We will let you know if an earlier check in time is possible.

No need to waste time and arrange for offsite key collection. After hours we offer a 24 hour lockbox with access code provide prior to arrival. For your comfort we will turn on lights and air conditioning So the house will be ready for you to wind down and enjoy.
We will also personally handover keys ( during check in time 3-7pm) and discuss any features which will assist you throughout your stay.
We are locals and will be more than happy to help you with any information on activities in the area you would like to visit. Fancy some catering? We can email you options to make your stay even more special and carefree.
