Trumansburg is a beautiful village where you can enjoy the small-town feel but still get everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, bicycle repair, bookstore, and coffee shop. In the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Region between the two largest lakes and in the highest concentration of wineries, cideries, distilleries, and breweries. 215ft waterfall Taughannock Falls State Park. Within 30 miles of 150 waterfalls, this region is absolutely gorges. The music and art scene is big with concerts, small venues, theater, and galleries. Many water activities with swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, wine tours, paddleboard, and guided fishing.

I moved to the Finger Lakes in 1994 after working at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD. My education is a plant geneticist and environmental studies from the University of Maryland. I have two daughters, 25 and 28 years old and two dogs, Sadie 3 yrs old and Charlie 2-year-old Australian Shepherds and Evie, an outdoor cat 21 years old.

The Inn started as a B&B with 4 rooms in one house. November 2020 I will be running the Inn and Spa at Gothic Eves for 26 years. Today it is an Inn with two houses, 8 suites, and a spa! I love the Finger Lakes for all the reasons my guests love it; hiking, delicious local organic foods with talented chefs, waterfalls, wineries and cideries, the energy of the area, and the beautiful people that are attracted to the region. I love my job but I also enjoy a great bike ride to Ithaca on the Black Diamond trail that always includes a great meal, offshore diving in Bonaire, hiking any trail I can find, and having a wonderful meal with my friends.
