This lovely property is located in the heart of Alhambra’s historic Midwick Tract primarily made up of single-family homes. It’s in a quiet neighborhood nestled between downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley – a prime location of North Alhambra bordering South Pasadena and San Marino. One minute walking distance to multiple eateries from the back of the house. This back guest house has plenty of privacy with your own parking space and front patio with an old fashion adobe fireplace.

Only a few minutes away is Edwards IMAX cinema, Alhambra Place Center, and Main Street with grocery stores, retail shops, and restaurants. Atlantic Times Square Plaza also offers AMC theatres, 24 Hour Fitness, homemade boba from OneZo and another collection of shops and restaurants.

Easy access to both the 10 and 710 freeways, this property is ideal for travelers who want a quieter place to stay but still want to be in close proximity to all major attractions in Los Angeles and Orange County. Pasadena is 15 minutes away, Downtown LA 20 minutes, Universal Studios 40 minutes, and Disneyland 45 minutes. It’s also perfect for those visiting the University of Southern California (USC) and California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA).

Those approved, redirect your packages and/or mail as your stay near its end as mail received 'after' will be "Returned to Sender". We do NOT hold packages/mail.***

PROPERTY (Built in 1938!)
The property is divided into two separate houses (front and back) with no shared walls! This listing is for the residence in the cozy back guest house. You have your own private entrance and 1 free parking (for a standard sized vehicle; no large vehicle, no RV, no trailer, no trailer attached and similar) in front of the garage adjacent to the back house. Enter through the narrow driveway (because it was built in 1938) located on the left side of the property and proceed through the white ornate gates to your reserved parking spot in front of the garage in the back. Enter/exit at your own responsibility.

The entire back guest house will be only available to you; it is not shared. The back guest house has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, a living room and a full kitchen. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and the living room has a full sized sofa bed. Bathroom and kitchen basics are available, see full details below.

***Currently, there is "No" Cleaning Fee in addition to the nightly price. Unfortunately, the Service Fee is charged by Airbnb for all reservations.***

HOME (Total ~200 sq ft)
- You’ll have the entire back house to yourself; your own private entrance
- Accommodates four people max; children shall be included in the count

- A sofa that easily converts to a full-size bed
- Coffee table with 4 games (Uno, Jenga, Airbnb Deck of Cards, and box of Chest with Checkers )
-7 Addition board games in the cabinet in the island facing the front door
- Mini-split air conditioning unit (heating and cooling) with remote

KITCHEN (Living Room + Kitchen ~100 sq ft)
- Kitchen with full sized stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator
- Keurig Coffee Maker, tea and coffee (sugar and creamer provided)
- Mugs, glass cups, wine glasses
- Pots, baking pans, dishes (plates and bowls), and silverware
- Electric hot water kettle

- Additional vehicles may park on the street; however, the City of Alhambra requires a permit for overnight parking (2AM-6AM).
- The cost is $5 per night per car; renter must obtain a permit at their own expense, details included in the Welcome Binder.
- Convenient street parking; free during the day but move car for street cleaning on Thursdays

- Protection: Surveillance cameras in courtyard between homes and perimeter of the homes
- One free parking spot on premises (in front of garage; 1 standard sized vehicle only). Driveway and gate entrance is narrow/tight! Enter/exit at your own responsibility. Please go to City of Alhambra website (cityofalhambra(dot)org) and search "Parking Permits (Temporary Overnight)" or "Temporary Overnight Parking Permits" to get to the link to purchase online or at the locations listed on website. Options below for your convenience:

- Check yourself in with the smartlock keypad.
- Check-In: 4:00 PM (PST)
- Check-Out: 12:00 PM (PST)
- Late check-out will be charged an extra $50.00 USD
- Staying on premise (i.e. patio, etc.) is not checked out. You are checked out when all guest(s) has left the property
- Storing of items on the property is not allowed before check-in time (4PM) and after check-out time (12PM). Storing items on property after check-out time indicates that you have not check-out. You will be charged a late fee. Cleaning service cannot clean until you and your items have completely left the property.
- Cleaning service will be there sharply at check-out for new guests arriving the same day as you check-out.

- Quiet time at 10 PM (PST) - 8 AM (PST)
- No pets
- No parties, gatherings or events
- No more than 4 persons (i.e. that would include children);
Each person after 2 is an additional $20 charge 'per person'

Cancellation Policy -
Strict: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
