Best known for its mild winters, Green Valley is a great destination year-round. The most pleasant weather (with temperatures between 65 and 80-degrees) is from April to late-June, and from early September to mid-October. Even in the peak of summer, outdoor activities abound with cool mornings that enable prime adult living. Enjoy bird watching and hiking in the shade of Madera Canyon (Mt Wrightson elevation is 9,453’), a round of golf, or use your Green Valley Recreation pass (available for a small fee) to gain access to tennis, pickleball, swimming, art classes, and more.
