This spacious guest apartment in St.Ives is part of a newly renovated former farmhouse with pretty garden and parking.
It is a ten minute walk from the town centre and beaches and would
accommodate 4 guests.
It has a double/twin bedroom and a further double sofa bed in the large open plan kitchen/diner/ lounge area.
Situated in a quiet residential area, guests have shared use of the lovely sunny garden.

Miejsce
The apartment has been created from one end of our old Cornish granite former farmhouse.
It has been freshly renovated and updated throughout, whilst retaining some of its original features.
The porch leads through into a spacious and light open plan kitchen/ diner/ sitting room area.
There is ONE bedroom which can either be made up with a kingsize bed or twin single beds, if guests let me know their preference in advance.
There is a further double sofa bed in the main room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and a washing machine in small separate utility room.
There is a rotary clothes dryer out in the garden.
The original aga is still in situ in the main living area which we keep on a low setting to provide ambient heat rather than for cooking. It is good for draping clothes on to air or to stand by to warm your toes on a chilly evening!
The bathroom has a bath and overbath shower, heated towel rail and toilet.
There is wifi and a television in the main living area.
Guests are welcome to sit out and enjoy the garden. Separate Guests staying in the rooms upstairs in the other separate end end of the house access their entrance through the garden and will also be free to sit out in the shared garden.

The Flat is a private self contained unit with private access.

The aga is kept at a low setting so just provides an ambient heat rather than for cooking on. There is a gas cooker in the kitchen.
The garden is shared with other guests in our separate rooms above and annexe flat at the far end of the garden. Please could guests be mindful of this and considerate with noise levels, particularly in the evenings when others may be asleep.

There is free parking for one car.

The apartment is a ten minute walk from St. Ives town centre and beaches , so out of the hustle and bustle but near enough for easy access. Free parking with us is a real bonus in St. Ives.
We have amazing beaches, Porthmeor for surf, also Porthgwidden, Balamus, The Harbour or beautiful Porthminster, take your pick!
You will find the Barbara Hepworth museum in town, plenty of art galleries, good restaurants, takeaways and quirky shops.
Travelling in the other direction from us, we are just down the road from The Leach Pottery and a five minute drive( or 20 mins on foot) from some beautiful moorland or coastal walks.

I am a local, St. Ives born and bred and my husband moved to St. Ives at the age of two. We both enjoy hikes in the beautiful countryside and strolls on the beach with our dog. Prior to hosting guests I worked for numerous years both in preschool and primary school settings with children with additional needs. My husband trained and worked as a dental technician up until a few years ago when he successfully turned his hand to carpentry which he enjoys.

W trakcie pobytu
We live a ten minute drive away. We like to pop over and meet guests and show them in when possible within check in times.
However when this is not possible we have key safes there so guests are able to check in themselves.

Sometimes we will be at the property gardening or doing change overs in our other rooms.
Of course you are free to phone/ message us if you need help.
We would just ask that you could contact us with queries between 8am and 9pm and only out of these hours if very urgent.
