Gdzie się zatrzymasz

St. Louis, Missouri, Stany Zjednoczone

The Cherokee St neighborhood is a vibrant and culturally diverse community, also know as the Art District of St. Louis(see photos). It’s a rapidly gentrifying area that is called home by various artists of every genre, incoming young professionals, hipsters, shop owners, real estate investors, etc. This area seems to cultivate and embrace the creative types!

Cherokee Street is a great place to walk around, hang out and discover all sorts of fun sites for daytime trips and nightlife adventures. We feel this is a very nice and fun place to visit and live.

Our home is 1.5 blocks from Cherokee Street where you can enjoy:
(+) 3 of the Top(#2,4, & 13) Coffee Shops in all of St. Louis!
(+) Local Mexican food, great pizza, and various unique restaurants
(+) Russian themed bars, micro breweries, other hip bars.
(+) Shows, music venues, art galleries and even a Buddhist temple!
(+) Antique Row is also accessible and fun to see…just a few blocks down.
(+) Too many other things capture here.
(+) See photos.

NEIGHBORHOOD/CHEROKEE ST FAQ:
1. Is the immediate neighborhood quiet at night?
Our area is usually quiet at night.

2. Is there ample parking?
YES! There is usually ample free street parking in front of our house or near the house.

3. Is it safe?
This is a transitioning urban neighborhood with people of all colors/races. We feel safe walking, parking, and living here. There is a lot of investment money flowing into this area in terms of real estate development and new businesses. An incredible number of NEW businesses just opened up on Cherokee St within the past year! 86 to be exact! So Cherokee Street is generally considered an up & coming area. However, keep in mind this is the city, so it's not perfect. So please take care of yourself as you would in any metropolitan area like New York, San Francisco, etc. Don't leave valuables in your car.

If you are ok with a historic urban environment with a diverse, eclectic vibe, then this is the perfect place for your St. Louis stay. However, if you are overly sensitive to urban areas, then please consider Clayton or one of the other areas that aligns better with your comfort zone.

Many tourist/visitors have safely stayed in the area evidenced by the numerous reviews you can read right here on Airbnb. Just search for Cherokee Street, St. Louis, MO, and read hundreds of reviews of people just like you who thoroughly enjoyed their trips to this area. You will find the reviews for Cherokee Street to be overwhelmingly positive, but of course, no area is perfect for everyone.

Welcome to my profile! I love hosting guest in the Airbnb community. We have met some of the nicest people from all over the world. It's really an incredible feeling to connect with so many different people. I am a mother of three boys and am currently doing renovation projects in the Cherokee Street area in St Louis. We are a pretty easy going family. Some of our favorite things include traveling, hiking, camping, dancing, and watching great films. We compost, recycle, reuse, and usually try to eat organic food. We respect and cherish all life on earth.
