If you are looking to slow down, relax and enjoy nature, you’ve come to the right place! This is glamorous camping, i.e. "Glamping"…a more refined way to connect with the outdoors...for people who want to go camping, but need the luxuries of a hotel! Our property in Arroyo Grande is home to deer, coyotes, jack rabbits, bunnies, squirrels, quail, turkeys, lizards, owls, hawks, as well as many different types of birds. We have provided binoculars for our guests who enjoy bird-watching. There is very little light pollution, making the night sky dazzling and unforgettable.

Your canvas cabin (custom safari tent) is provided with electricity and a friendly workspace. It has a Duraflame fireplace heater and a 1500 watt Hunter Tower Heater that keep the tent toasty warm on chilly nights. (You also have access to a chest filled with extra blankets and comforters.) There is a strong Wi-Fi signal in our pool area. This cabin has wood floors, and comes equipped with a queen bed and queen sofa-bed (both with memory foam mattresses). We can accommodate additional guests with a queen-sized air mattress, also with linens and blankets. We also supply an iron and table ironing board for your convenience. It is also equipped with a white noise machine, as well as a deluxe alarm clock with FM radio, temperature display and a USB charging port. For evenings or rainy days, we also have added a TV/VCR combo and a selection of 40 various movies for your pleasure. Enjoy lounging on your private deck in the early morning, listening to birdsongs, and watch the deer stroll by. We have also added a fun hammock hung between the oaks, for that afternoon nap, or for relaxing with a good book in the shade. Or spend the day luxuriating in your beautiful PRIVATE tropical pool area with waterfalls, soaking up the sun and swimming. The pool is now heated by solar bladders, so if it's sunny, the temperature of the water is very comfy. Also enjoy sitting on our little bridge over the covered pond, watching our beautiful Koi and gold fish. There is also a horseshoe pit and cornhole game for your enjoyment. We also provide a campfire pit down near the tent, beside the picnic table, for those who enjoy a real camping feel, or simply want to roast marshmallows for s'mores! But for guests who prefer a more resort-like feel, there is also a new gas rock fire pit up near the pool...a nice place to sit with a glass of wine, while enjoying each other's company. At night, kick back and enjoy watching the sun go down, or relax in the Jacuzzi. We also provide books, cards and various board games. We guarantee you'll enjoy all the comforts, while still feeling like you are deep in the woods, listening to crickets, frogs and owls at night, and waking in the morning to the sounds of doves and birdsong. A wonderful, relaxing getaway from life's hectic schedules.

Inne ważne rzeczy
Check-in time begins at 3:00PM, until whenever you arrive! We are available 24/7. Please come to the front door of the main house, and one of your hosts, Raul or Diane, will greet you, give you your keys, show you to the glamping site, and answer any questions you might have.

If you plan to fly into the San Luis Obispo Airport, we offer a shuttle to Serenity...just let us know what time your flight is arriving.

Although the word "kitchen" is checked under Amenities, guests should note that there is no kitchen in the tent, as no food is allowed inside our Canvas Cabin. Underneath that amenity, it states "Space where guests can cook their own meals." And we DO offer such a space; a compact kitchen up on the patio by the pool. It's protected and undercover. It offers a sink with hot and cold running water, a 2-burner stove, and another refrigerator/freezer. There is also a BBQ and table for your use, along with a cooler, pots and pans, all cooking utensils, cutting board, knives, eating utensils, plastic bowls, plastic cups, paper plates, towels, napkins, salt/pepper, etc. (Remember: there is also the mini refrigerator/freezer and coffee maker provided in your tent). We have also provided a small microwave, Osterizer/Blender and a toaster inside the bathroom for your use, along with a large cupboard space to store any foods/snacks you might have. If you want anything else, simply call us, and we will make every effort to conjure up your additional needs. Remember...you have the entire pool area with various tables and chairs for your own PRIVATE use.

We offer Veterans, First Responders, and health care workers, a 10% discount upon request (only when another "discount" hasn't already been utilized in your booking). (Proof of Service required.)

We follow Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance.
Here are a few highlights:
* We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs
* We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and we wear
protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
* We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
* We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
* We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines.

You can't beat the Central California Coast for pleasant temperatures year-round. This custom safari tent (canvas cabin) is nestled in a countryside filled with oaks, with views of the Los Padres National Forest and the Edna Valley vineyards; and just a short hike away from breathtaking views of the ocean from Avila Beach to the Guadalupe Dunes. There are limitless lookouts for sunrise, sunset, moonrise and star-gazing. We are also centrally located to anything you might desire! The San Luis Obispo Airport is less than 10 minutes away, so if you aren’t driving here in your own car, you could easily fly in, rent a car, taxi, or Uber your way to our glamp-site and the many tourist attractions. Or if you'd prefer, we can pick you up from the airport and shuttle you to Serenity! Escape the maddening crowds of the city, yet it is just a few minutes drive to cool and trendy shops in our small beach towns. We are close to many wineries, the popular pristine Central Coast beaches, whale watching, sailing adventures, riding dune buggies at the sand dunes, farmers markets, shopping and dining in downtown San Luis Obispo, which is known for being the happiest city in America, and is home to Cal Poly University. There is also the Lake Lopez Recreation Park, which offers fishing, swimming, zip-lining, and the Mustang Water Park. Our many beach towns also offer surfing, kayaking, horseback-riding, as well as many other recreational opportunities. And another must-see is the Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo Beach, where you'll see the Eucalyptus tree–filled grove with thousands of monarch butteries in late October through February. If you are willing to drive a little bit farther, the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles is only 45 minutes away, and the grand Hearst Castle in San Simeon is only an hour north. Another fun day would be to enjoy the Danish village of Solvang...only 40 minutes south of us. The choices are endless!

Although Raul was born in New Jersey, and Diane was raised in Washington State, they have both been Californians for over 35 years, and have lived in the Central Coast for 20+ years! We met at Bills Place in the Village of Arroyo Grande in 1999, while line-dancing and singing Karaoke, and have been together ever since. We have a beautiful melded family of 4 daughters, 2 sons, and 8 grandchildren. We enjoy singing together, and have entertained at various events and weddings over the years. Raul is also known for his work as The Sandman, building amazing sandcastles for charity just north of the Pismo Beach pier most Saturdays from April thru Oct. (weather permitting). Perhaps your visit will land on one of those days, and you can come down and watch him build his creations! We look forward to sharing our beautiful site with you.

We are available 24/7 for our guests if they should need anything, but we try to give you total privacy...like staying at a Private Resort, but we are just a phone call away. We tell our guests to consider us The Front Desk/Concierge, and they can contact us any time--day or night--we will always be available to answer any questions or take care of anything they might need.
Your private bathroom with shower is located in the main house, only a 180 foot walk from your cabin, along a well-lit path, and is situated near the pool area. This bathroom is locked and blocked from the rest of the main house, giving guests total privacy. We provide towels, washcloths, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer and a full-length mirror. (We DO ask that guests help us conserve water, and not take extended showers.) There is also a basic first-aid kit in the top bathroom drawer on the left side of the sink. (Please use the green or black house towels for bathing, and the assorted colored beach towels for the pool. These are all located in the first cabinet on the right as you enter the bathroom.)

There is private guest parking along the left side of the main house in the graveled area.

POISON OAK WARNING: If you decide to hike through our woods, please be on the lookout for poison oak. It has 3 leaves, mostly shiny and red…can be a small or grand sized bush. Don’t touch any plant that you are unsure about. Try to stay on clear paths and don’t brush up on plants if you can help it. We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes while hiking. The plant poison is an oil, so if you get it on you, it will transfer to any surface you touch (like shoes to floor, etc.) A bit of advice: If it is not a fern or grass, chances are that it is poison oak.

NOTE: The blue mat just inside the tent entrance is a “tacky mat”. This captures dirt and dust from foot traffic, but does not leave any residual adhesive on your shoes.
