A lovely spacious 3 bedroom home with great mountain views from the upstairs lounge. Guests enjoy the new comfortable beds, brand new bathroom and the location, only 10 minutes walk to town.
There is free wifi, a large backyard and off street parking. A lockbox makes check in easy. No hidden costs like cleaning/linen fees.

Pompolona Palace has a large elevated lounge room with great mountain views. It is a comfortable home with new beds and lounge suite. The house was built in the late 1960's, and has beautiful wooden floors made from New Zealand rimu (a common building material in those days). The kitchen has an old style oven/stove top and a decent sized fridge. The bathroom has been completely renovated has a bath as well as a shower and great water pressure. There is a washing machine, clothes dryer and a heat pump. Great for families or two couples/friends.

We are a couple who enjoy the great outdoors, travelling overseas most winters and exploring our own backyard. We call beautiful Fiordland home and both work in conservation: wildlife protection, island restoration and marine monitoring. We also work in the local sustainable crayfishing industry. We aim to provide a home away from home in Te Anau, a relaxing town on the shores of Lake Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland.
