Our special condo was completely renovated in the summer of 2017 with high quality appliances and fixtures. There are tile floors through out the unit. The kitchen has all new stainless appliances and a large granite counter top/breakfast bar for eating in. Or dine al fresco on the lanai with seating for four. The condo has A/C in the Master bedroom and living room. Also, ceiling fans are located in each room making warmer days a breeze. A reserved parking spot is conveniently located just steps from the unit.

Puako is a quaint, quiet historical community known for its relaxed local beach culture. Puako is a beach community unlike the resort areas on the Kohala Coast, with seven unique beach access points along the two mile stretch of homes. The Puako Condo building is a unique fixture along Puako Beach Drive as there are no other buildings aside from houses, a country store and two churches. The condo is conveniently located next door to the historic and friendly family-owned Puako General Store, where you can buy food, cold drinks, prepared meals, rent DVDs, and more.

The beach is right across the street. It’s perfect for snorkeling and is home to many honu (sea turtles). Wake up for the sunrise over Mauna Kea and see the turtles sunning themselves on the rocks. Just a 200 yard walk from your front door. And, in the same spot, is the best sunset on the island. It’s magical. Puako reef is also recognized as one of the best scuba areas in all of Hawaii. Stand-Up Paddleboards and kayaks are available for rent nearby.

Ocean adventures (whale watching, swim with wild dolphins, and manta ray snorkeling) are available from the Puako Boat Ramp, five minutes (or less) from your door.

Our company has implemented expanded cleaning protocols with our cleaning teams to follow recommended CDC guidelines and instructed our cleaners to be even more thorough with their cleaning and disinfecting measures. This includes but is not limited to thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols for all high touch household common areas (including, but not limited to, remote controls, door knobs, keypads, etc.) as well as surfaces throughout each residence especially in the bathrooms and kitchens.

The Puako Beach condos are the only condominiums in the quaint, secluded, oceanfront community of Puako. It is the only oceanfront community on the Kohala Coast. Many people discover our neighborhood while exploring from a nearby resort, and prefer to stay here in the future because of the "boutique" hotel experience.


Located adjacent to the Puako store, it is the first building on the left, as you enter the village which consists of a 2 mile stretch of 80 oceanfront properties (makai) , and 80 homes across the street from the ocean (mauka) on Puako Beach Drive, a dead end street.

The grounds are prolific with flowers and tropical foliage and there is a circular pool and baby pool contained in a fenced area. Barbecuing is permitted on the lanais with electric grills only.
Puako is a favorite of the local folk and visitors.
