  • The cabin may look small, but has much to offer.  The seasonal mountain views make it magical!
  • Enjoy the sound of the creek from one of the two porches.

  • The road to the cabin is gently sloped and fully paved for easy access.
  • The kitchen is fully stocked.  Just bring the groceries.
  • The pantry offers other cooking appliances and a first aid kit for life's little hiccups.
  • A house phone is provided for those with spotty cell phone service.
  • The living area is cozy and the gas fireplace offers both ambiance and warmth.
  • Sit back in the glider and enjoy the view.
  • There are many DVDs to enjoy.  There is no cable in the cabin, but you won't miss it.
  • The closet upstairs is stocked with games for the family and friends to enjoy.
  • The upper level bath has a tub/shower combination.
  • The tub is deep enough for a relaxing soak after a day of hiking.  We provide the Epsom salts!
  • The lower level deck is great for early morning coffee.
  • Enjoy eating on the upper level screened in porch while listening to the sounds of the creek below.
  • The gas grill is great for outdoor dining. We only ask that you clean it after use.
  • The main bedroom has a door to the lower level deck.
  • The main bedroom also has a TV so you can enjoy a late night movie in bed.

  • The lower level bath offers a walk in shower and fully stocked linen closet.
  • Catch up on laundry so you don't have to go home and do it once you check out.  We always have detergent on hand.
  • The second of two waterfalls is located on the bend just past the cabin.
  • The first of two waterfalls near the cabin is located on the bend just before the drive.  After a good rain shower the falls can become quite beautiful.
  • View of Clayton from Black Rock Mountain State Park just 10 minutes away.
  • Tallulah Gorge's beauty is never ending. (Just 20 minutes south of the cabin.)
  • In late November the hues on the mountains provide the perfect backdrop to showcase the might rock ledges the make up the magnificent Tallulah Gorge.
  • Several times a year they release the water in the Tallulah Gorge and you can watch expert kayakers brave the 5 falls within the gorge.
  • A wintery view from the overlook on the way up to Sky Valley.
