LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION with a Walk Score of 87 and assigned OFF STREET PARKING. The Doxie ( Little Sister of the Dachshund) is a light filled two story townhouse with two bedrooms (one being a loft bedroom) and one bath. The decor is fun and comfortable. It has a Urban feel. This is not my home, it is set up fully furnished with all the niceties solely for the short or long term stay for travels and or your business trips. I believe you will enjoy the brick courtyard!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! with assigned off street parking. Welcome to The Doxie on 9th Street (The Dachshund Little Sister), located in the center of Historic Soulard. Soulard is the oldest residential neighborhood just south of downtown in Saint Louis. This area is a very friendly and walk able neighborhood that offers a unique blend of residential housing and diverse businesses.
Just one block from your door you will have access to dozens of bars and restaurants with indoor/outdoor dining, live music, and special party rentals for the Barcycles, which are perfect for bachelor or bachelorette parties or just a group of friends that enjoy riding around singing and having fun.
If you are visiting our City for a Concert or Sporting Event just outside your door, Mollys and the 1860’s Saloon provide free trams to and from all events. In addition, an Uber ride is under 7 bucks each way to downtown and back.
On Saturday mornings you have to take in the Soulard Farmers Market which is only two blocks away. It was established in 1779 making it one of the oldest still operating open air markets in the country. Head to Julia’s (named after the neighborhood’s name sake, Julia Soulard) and grab a Bloody Mary, or enjoy a cupcake & coffee at Sweet Devine. There is a market bag hanging on a hook in the kitchen for your use to bring your finds back to the apartment. And if that is not enough, keep in mind that Soulard is the host to the largest costumed Mardi Gras Pet Parade in the country as well as what some say the second largest Mardi Gras Celebration in the Country. (We will let you decide).
Parking is not a problem since you will have your own private off street assigned parking space. (There is enough room to park two vehicles in tandem, one if front of the other). You can literally park your vehicle and walk everywhere in Soulard or take Uber if you decide to explore St Louis.
As our guest you will be staying in a two story townhouse with the kitchen and living room with a fireplace on the main floor with 2 bedrooms with one of them being a loft, and full bath on the second floor. All basic cooking essentials are provided. The main bath has a shower. Also provided with the bath is a hair dryer, shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash. Of course all bath and bed linens are supplied.
Standard cable and high speed internet is provided. There is a 48” SMART TV. Washer and dryer are located in the basement for your use with laundry detergent and fabric softener supplied. There is also an iron and ironing board in the unit. For your safety a first aid kit and fire extinguisher are in the unit.
Access to the unit is through a key pad with your own personal code provided within the hour before your check in time. We use the last 4 digits of your phone for the code.

Also the Doxie is right next door to the Dachshund and share the same courtyard so if you are looking to accommodate many guests you can book both.

You may be coming to Saint Louis for many reasons, but we believe, when you leave you will have fallen in love with The Doxie and our Historic Soulard.

NOTE: WE DO NOT HOST GUESTS THAT ARE LOCAL AND/OR WITH 0 REVIEWS. Additionally You will note that the maximum number of guests we allow to book is 4 and NO additional guests will be allowed on the property at any time for any reason during your stay.

Gdzie się zatrzymasz

St. Louis, Missouri, Stany Zjednoczone

Soulard, the city’s oldest neighborhood, exhibits a leisurely pace and an appreciation of days gone by. The historic streets are lined with red brick townhomes that house live music clubs and unique restaurants. Located just five minutes south of the Arch, the lively neighborhood was named for Antoine Soulard, a Frenchman who surveyed colonial St. Louis for the King of Spain. Today, structures built by early brewery workers have been turned into music clubs, shops and restaurants, many of which offer outdoor dining in elaborate courtyards. The historic churches of Soulard, built by St. Louis’ immigrant communities, also welcome visitors throughout the year. The Soulard neighborhood marks its French heritage with a huge annual Mardi Gras fête in February/March. Revelers also flock to the neighborhood in the fall for Oktoberfest. Soulard Farmers Market, operating continuously since 1779, is the neighborhood’s centerpiece, open Wednesdays through Saturdays.
