6 Le Petit Cheval Blanc is a luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with stunning views from large south and west facing balconies, within walking distance of the Town Centre in the beautiful Old Town part of Morzine.

Our stylishly designed Scandi inspired apartment is 6 minutes walk to the Old Town square and the shops, bars and restaurants of the Rue du Bourg and only a 2 minute walk to the ski bus to Avoriaz, Morzine Les Gets and Super Morzine.

It is ideal for one or two couples, three friends or a smaller family with children as there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The larger bedroom has an ensuite giving the option of two single beds or a king size double.

Our apartment 6@Petit Cheval Blanc is perfect as a private retreat. It is well located - walking distance from the centre of town, approximately 6 minutes from Rue du Bourg, 2 minutes from the free ski shuttle bus and yet situated in the historic Old Town of Morzine, next to the River Dranse in a quiet and peaceful setting.

The apartment is set in an elevated position with commanding views. The walk back to the apartment is uphill - the upside being that you get to burn off some of the fantastic French mountain cuisine!

The apartment has been lovingly designed and crafted with a well-proportioned open plan living space that is flooded with light from three sets of floor to ceiling doors, which open onto the large sunny south facing balcony complete with table and chairs.

The panoramic mountain views are particularly fabulous in the Summer when the trees and blue skies create a spectacular backdrop. The ‘Sundowners’ balcony to the west features comfortable lounge chairs where you can enjoy your favourite drink while watching the sun set over the mountains. In the winter, the 270 degree views give you a great views across to both Avoriaz and Morzine/Les Gets.

The lounge features a sleek fireplace which is great for extra cosiness on those cold winter nights. There is a Sonos speaker system that links to your smart devices, and large flatscreen TV with UK Satellite TV, French TV, Netflix (login provided) and free wifi. Combine this with a sumptuous squishy Loaf velvet sofa to sink into and blended with traditional textures and cool urban prints the result is a beautifully appointed relaxing space.

The modern kitchen is thoughtfully equipped and includes a Nespresso machine, full size dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer, oven with ceramic hob, kettle and toaster as well as a Bosch washer/dryer, a slow cooker and raclette/hot stone for authentic mountain meals.

The main bedroom is next to a spacious ensuite bathroom with WC, walk in shower with oversized rain shower and designer sink unit. The beds can be configured as a king sized double (with no ridge or gaps) or two single beds.

There is a large private balcony, perfect for a yoga deck and with superb views of the Morzine ski area and surrounding mountains to inspire you for the day ahead!

The second bedroom is compact with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, loads of clever storage features including under bed storage and lovely views of the Pleney Morzine ski lift area.

There is a second bathroom with full walk in shower with an oversized rain shower, WC and designer sink unit so each bedroom can have its own private bathroom if desired.

Egyptian Cotton bed linen and White Company towels are provided for your stay. Additionally we provide a welcome pack with Nespresso coffee pods, Yorkshire tea bags, milk, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, herbs and spices.

We have a super helpful in-resort management team who can arrange welcome baskets, airport transfers, bike/ski hire, and many other things before your arrival to ensure a smooth and perfect holiday. One thing we can heartily recommend is their delicious meals service which delivers mouth watering food directly to the apartment to greet you on your return. *extra charges apply



For those guests arriving by car, the apartment is perfect as it has a private parking space right outside the front of the building and visible from the balcony as well as a separate private lockable garage for a second car or for the storage of bikes etc..




There is a private lockable Ski/snowboard Cave with built in ski/board rack and a glove and boot warmer for four pairs of boots.

Morzine and the Portes du Soleil region is a fantastic area whether you like the adrenaline sports of Skiing/Boarding, Zip-lining, Rafting, Mountain Biking, Road cycling on the Tour de France Cols, Parapenting, Horse riding and Tennis or prefer to enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery of the Haute Savoie with its superb hiking, walking and relaxing in this beautiful corner of France.

The apartment is self contained and is accessed via the communal foyer.

There are three balconies with a large balcony, seating and table looking into the mountains towards Avoriaz and two further balconies one with seating and drinks table looking over Morzine and the Pleney skiing and mountain biking area.

There is also a ski locker room with ski rack, hooks for coats and helmets and a glove / boot warmer for four pairs.

There is also a large lockable private garage for bikes / car and an additional private allocated parking space for the apartment.

Our apartment is located in the Old Town of Morzine where a lot of the older buildings, farmhouses and characterful residences of Morzine are situated. It is approximately 5/6 minutes walk from the Rue du Bourg, and is close enough to comfortably walk into town while being a peaceful retreat from the lively exuberance of the main town.

I live in Cambridge UK with my wife Tara. I've always enjoyed the outdoors from spending half my boyhood usually by a river somewhere in Suffolk to now when we try and escape to the mountains as much as possible for fresh air, mountain hikes, epic bike rides and that sense of space and 'living'. I'm of an age where I no longer take my health for granted and so every moment spent in nature is gratefully received and Morzine is the perfect outdoor playground . My experience of guests we've hosted on Airbnb has been fantastic and it's brought real pleasure to my life to be able to help people enjoy some great moments in the mountains.

The apartment is located next to the River Dranse on the sunny side of Morzine and has spectacular views of the surrounding area. The building was the former Hotel Le Petit Cheval Blanc and is now 8 beautiful apartments designed around the original structure.
