Charming 1940's remodeled cabin with an incredible view of the Hill Country and Pedernales River. There is plenty to do...chill on the gorgeous deck or drive into Austin for the weirdness; there are lots of local places to eat, drink and listen to live music; nearby vineyards; and a huge county park for hiking and biking. Beautiful eat-in kitchen with breakfast offering of orange juice, bagels, coffee and tea. NOTE: the driveway is a bit rugged as you get to the secluded oasis.

The driveway is approximately 1/4 mile gravel. Plenty of parking.

This is not a party house ... it is a quiet retreat while you're there. Partying in many local establishments less than 5 miles. Or there is always Austin!

There are wild turkeys, wild peacocks (which sound like giant cats in heat), lots of wild life. Tons of birds. Turkey buzzards nest far below the deck, so they occasionally like to roost on the deck railing; they are harmless and easily shooed away.
