Perfect for two people, your modern apartment is securely tucked inside a refurbished building with a double security entrance and an incredible, year-round rooftop pool. The east-facing balcony (and living area) overlooks Chinatown and towards St Patrick's Cathedral, and has a very pleasant view; especially at night time.

This is a one-bedroom apartment with a queen bed in the bedroom, and a sofa-bed in the lounge.

The apartment is only 100m from Chinatown, and only a few minutes' walk from some of the best shopping, theaters (the apartment is located in the East End Theatre District), restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia. The tram stops are just 300m away. You can enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country. Everyday shops, services, banks & ATMS and all your everyday needs are catered for nearby.

Your apartment includes modern furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and kitchen utensils. Opening windows allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it.

There's a Microwave, Induction Hotplate (a Hob), Fridge, Toaster and Kettle in the kitchenette.
Full range of cutlery and cooking utensils.
Washing Machine & Dryer in the common stairwell.
Iron & Ironing board, vacuum cleaner.
Plenty of spare sheets, face-washers and towels.

If you're interested in sight seeing, there's a RedBus that does a tour of Melbourne Inner City that departs from the church at Flinders Street Station.
For day tours/trips (Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, etc) head to Swanston St (between Lonsdale and Bourke Street) and you'll find plenty of places to book.

I, or my co-host Sharyn, always greet guests at the building on your arrival and give a full tour of the building, the apartment itself, the heated rooftop pool and all the fire exits, extinguishers etc.

The apartment is perfect for two people.

Guests are responsible for any damage to the apartment which may exceed the bond. This includes losing the keys.

Its important not to cause disturbance to my lovely neighbors. So no loud noise late at night whilst residents are trying to sleep. :-)

Please remember to turn off the TV + Heater when you are not there.

Mistakes happen, so don't panic if something breaks! But please do let me know ASAP so I can fix it.

The coin-operated laundry is just down the hallway, in the stairwell on every other floor. It is not expensive, as it is managed by the owners in the building. $4 for Washing, $3 for Dryer.
Washing powder is provided and is located inside the vanity unit in your bathroom. If you run out of washing powder, please let me know so I can get some more for you.



IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
No parking on property - Parking in the CBD is a tricky one. Best to leave the car at home! I myself live in the city too and get around fine without a car.

Please carry the key tag and key with you all the time when you are inside or especially outside the room.

Fees are applicable for loss of:
- Electronic safety key tag and key ($50)
- Myki card ($10 each)
- Cleaning up cost if found smoking evidence inside the apartment.

CHECKING OUT:
When you check out - please place used linen and towels in the bathtub or on top of the washing machine.
Please leave the apartment as you found it when checking in.

I highly recommended the tourist information service downstairs at Federation Square.

*Theatre*
The apartment is located right in the centre of the Theatre District. Feel like seeing a show while you are here? Check out HalfTix on Swanston street at the Melbourne Town Hall on Swanston Street. They sell theatre tickets at around half price to fill seats for shows that evening.

*Shopping*
Keen shoppers take note! One block down Lonsdale Street is the newly opened Emporium, with many recently arrived global retailers such as UniQlo. From there you can walk across the sky bridges to David Jones and Myers, and then onto even more shopping at Bourke Street Mall.


*The best markets in Melbourne*
The most famous market in Melbourne is indisputably the Queen Victoria Market (known affectionately by locals as Queen Vic or Vic Market), located in the heart of inner-city Melbourne. This historic and labyrinthine landmark is open five days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday–Sunday) and caters for everyone from tourist to foodie alike.

South Melbourne Market has the honour of being the oldest market in Melbourne to have operated continuously since its inception in 1867. Established in 1864, Prahran Market is mecca for Melbourne foodies and offers heirloom produce, cheeses, smallgoods, artisan products, certified organic fruits and veggies, as well as fresh meats – including game.
