Looking to experience staying in a cozy, rustic treehouse, tucked under a canopy of trees, listening to the whisper of the wind, watching the fireflies dance across an open field on a balmy summers night, and sleeping, nestled above it all!
I also have two other cabins, and a tiny house on wheels on the property...

Miejsce
The treehouse is surrounded by windows, and doors, which connect you to the surrounding trees, and the magical beauty of the nature around you! The loft has a comfortable full size mattress, with crisp cotton sheets, and with the clear roof above you. You will experience the swaying of the trees, the dappled, filtered light, all right above your head... Wonderful place to dream, while sleeping, or lying awake! Take a good book, a journal, or sketchpad, and cozy up in the loft, while hearing the nature sounds surrounding you! The many birds will delight you with their songs! Treehouses bring us back to a state of childlike wonder, to memories of the simplicity of sleeping with the trees, while giving one a feeling of being nestled, and communing with all that nature begs for us to pay attention to! The treehouse is meant to keep you close to the outside...and with that, and the openness of the structure, you will be sort of camping in the trees...

** Treehouse is totally off the grid, no electricity, and no wifi...if you need to connect, you can wander over to my yurt front porch and connect. Also, I can plug your phone in if needed as well! (During the cooler months, there is a propane gas heater for your source of heat.
There are also plenty of blankets...

** The treehouse has all salvaged windows, with no screening, and is very much like a glampingesque experience...bugs are minimal, but always something is present, as it is the country, and a structure, in, and surrounded by trees!

** I understand the desire, and allure, experiencing a stay in a tree house is, but I want to note a few things to consider when booking your stay.

** The treehouse is designed to keep you very close to the true tree house experience. There is a canopy of trees around and above you. So, depending on weather, the trees, during storms, rain, may cause twigs, and acorns to rain down as well on the roof!
The Treehouse is just that, a house in and with the trees! Magical, delightful, full of beauty, and wonder...but, there may also be some flying pests, ie: bugs
Harmless, a wonderful, and necessary part of natures web, and they, well, have their purpose. I suggest you bring what children have, a sense of wonder and amazement!
If you try and enjoy the adventure, the magic, the symbiotic nature, and of natures relationship with us, your experience should then be full of delight!
Enjoy the Space!!

NOTE: No indoor plumbing. There is an outdoor Composting Outhouse. Toilet paper and natural hand sanitizer provided. (Please only toilet paper in toilet, anything else in trash container) Thanks!

Provided in Treehouse:
*Fresh well water in crocks for drinking and washing (no need to bring bottled water)
* Single burner propane gas cooktop
* Basic kitchen supplies provided... pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, wine/can opener.
* Provide organic, fair trade coffee, teas, organic sugar, local honey, basic spices, cooking oil
* Charcoal grill (must bring own charcoal) (please do not dump or discard of ashes, I will collect if needed).
* Outdoor firepit (please pick up firewood...I will message you the best place for getting wood)***Outdoor fire rules due to weather, etc. is always enforced. Please put out fire in firepit with water when done.
*** Absolutely no liquid fuel ever is to be used on fire for starting...

*** In summer, please no DEET bug sprays! Bring along natural bug spray, or contact me and I may have some for you to purchase here as well.

*** Items you may want to bring:
* extra lantern or flashlight
* DEET free natural bug spray
* Slippers/Flip flops
* Please bring your own towels
* Please bring ice for provided cooler

**This is an Adult Only Treehouse, due too the organic nature of railings, stairs, loft, etc...18 and older please.

* Please be mindful that there is wildlife of various kinds that wander here and there through the property (on occasion, but rarely, you may encounter a tiny field mouse that may wander into the treehouse ( leave no food or crumbs to discourage, clean up cooking area. They are country mice, and always looking to gather nesting supplies... they are harmless, and more afraid of you!)

**Yes, there are ticks out there! You may or may not get one on you, but check clothing and yourself... also when entering treehouse is a good idea.
Just watch when walking around and I suggest staying on walking paths.

*****PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
I encourage you to not to be alarmed by the occasional presence of flying pests, it is a cabin on wooded country property, and they are a part off experiencing, and being in nature! (please know that field mice are a part of country living, there is no guarantee you will never spot one...harmless, but rural life is all about co-habitating with nature.

I also have two other listings, to accommodate larger groups! A total of 6 can be accommodated on the property.

A "Tiny House" on wheels!

Dostęp dla gości
Guests can wander about the 5.25 acre property! Please enjoy the property as much as I do! This is your home away from home, and I love Sharing it!

Please be mindful of the wildlife, and nature you will be surrounded by.
Be respectful, and aware...please do not feed any wildlie, birds, fish in pond, etc.
Clean up well after cooking outdoors especially!
Put away all food, and do dishes before bed, as night time visitors (uh, like raccoons), love raiding when they feel they can sneak up and help themselves!
Scrub the grill clean after each use, with grill scrub brush supplied.
Please do not leave outdoor fire
fire pit unattended, and when done, douse fire with water to insure it is out!

***All cabins and rentals on property have no indoor plumbing...
* I provide plenty of fresh well water
* The bathroom is a rustic, basic compost outhouse.

*** The outdoor shower is not in use during late fall throughout winter. You can either wash up the old fashioned way (Basin, and heat up water), all essentials provided,
natural shampoos, soaps, but do appreciate your bringing your own towels if possible.

*** Please read through the house rules, Thanks, and enjoy your stay at the cabin!!

NOTE: The shower is a shared area with the other rentals on the property, or you can take a bucket style bath!
Enjoy the "back to nature" simplicity!
I do have a garden hose as well...

*** Cooler weather notes: Treehouse is partially insulated, but being a rustic structure by nature, , it is not like staying in a house...and when the temps dip, the treehouse is for the more adventurous, who are looking for an experience to a simpler way of living... Please bring warm, weather appropriate clothes and boots/shoes.
I do provide very warm bedding, pillows, so no need to bring them.

Inne ważne rzeczy
**A recent inquiry has inspired me to note: All walks of life, sexual orientation, and gender identities are warmly welcome and invited to stay, share, and enjoy this property...
So yes, I am LGBT friendly, and so is my 5.25 acre property that you can freely enjoy, individually, or as a couple!

There is a rustic, compost outhouse, down the steps, ground level...
There is an outdoor shower area near the parking area that all three guest cabins/treehouse share (If you can conveniently bring towels, great, otherwise I can provide them)...I do provide natural, biodegradable soap, shampoos... Please only use my supplied products, or if you use natural as well.
(The water, and soap do drain to the ground), and keeping the land, and wildlife safe from chemical, etc, is of utmost importance here. Please be mindful :)

** A note about sunscreen.
There has been much in the news about the dangerous chemicals for humans as well as the environment/sea/water source.
Would be wonderful if you can use natural sunscreen, or none perhaps, if you plan on using the outdoor shower (again, it drains to the ground, near a stream)
Thanks so much for accommodating my desire to keep my property as pristine and natural as possible! As well as providing a safe habitat for wildlife, bees, etc.

My neighborhood is a quiet rural spot on a country dirt road with great, but barely ever seen neighbors. Out here everyone is busy tending to their property, be it farm animals, gardening, or just doing all the chores that are required living a rural life! If you listen you can hear the horse whinny at the landowner next door, or the sheep herd (baaa) in the back of the land! The area is teaming with wildlife. At night, the abundance of stars against the dark night sky, will amaze you! Fireflies magically illuminate the summer nights! And when it's the frogs mating season, which are abundant along the ponds edge, their chorus will sing you to sleep!
Great sunsets as well!
I love where I live, when there is something needed the neighbors are always ready and willing to lend a hand! And when we can we get together for some socializing, we all catch up with each others lives. Out here we respect each others privacy, but think nothing of walking up to each others door and saying hello, or asking for a hand!
