2 BEDROOMS each with QUEEN size beds:

The Spacious Waterfront Bedroom has a STEARNS AND FOSTER PLUSH Queen bed with Fine Linens, TV, and a Picturesque Ocean view.

The Private Trailside Bedroom has a NEW Tuft and Needle Queen bed, Flat Screen TV, Sitting Room and Private deck with Ocean View.

The sitting room sofa folds down into a Full-Size Bed. Another Stunning View is enjoyed from the sitting room opening out to a Private Deck equipped with chairs…perfect for your morning coffee.

The Large living room, 27’x 27’, has 3 separate sitting areas: Watch the 55” Flat Screen HD SMART TV with High-speed Cable connection, Relax and Read in one of our Comfort Zones, or Gaze out the Expansive Windows to view Eagles or Ferries going by. A large movie VHS Video library, Board games, and Puzzles are available for indoor activities.

LAZY BOWEN HIDEAWAY & LAZY B WATERFRONT SUITE - A COTTAGE / DUPLEX
The ground floor Lazy B Waterfront Suite & the upper Lazy Bowen Hideaway are self-contained with separate entrances, decks, and parking areas. The Lazy B Waterfront Suite may or may not have guests during your stay. Normal conversation voices, music and TV volumes are required. Quiet Time is mandated between 10 pm and 9 am so everyone can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the Lazy Bowen Hideaway. Excessive noise is not allowed.

* SUMMERTIME SWIMMING DOCK
The community swimming dock is installed at Eaglecliff Beach sometime in May. The installation date varies and is dependent on the tide and community volunteers. The dock is removed sometime toward the end of September, again depending on the tides and community volunteers.

STORM WATCHING SPECTACULAR!!
Comfy & cozy in front of the WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE (Oct -April) while listening to the rain tap on the roof, wind blowing the sea to a froth, and waves crashing on the beach.

DOG FEE $17 PER DOG PER NIGHT (maximum 2)
We are dog-friendly and do charge $17 per dog per night. Your total $$ amount will need to be amended after your reservation is final. Please read our rental agreement for more Pet rules.

The Efficient Kitchen is Well Equipped with all the necessary tools for your culinary creations. Including a Family size skillet for morning pancakes. Enjoy your Family dinner at our Vintage dining table.

The water efficient Bathroom has Lush Towels, Hairdryer, Shampoo & Conditioner, and Tub/shower.

The cottage is conveniently equipped with a Washer and Dryer.

The many levels of Decks invite you to enjoy the Sound of the Waves washing the beach while connecting with Nature. Take pleasure in Outdoor Dining for 6 or unwind lounging on the seaside decks.

ACCESS ROAD DETAILS
AWD OR 4WD IS REQUIRED TO PARK ON PROPERTY
Our driveway / access road is gravel and steep in spots and requires AWD or 4WD vehicles to travel up and down the road. If you decide to park at the top of our driveway it is a 5 minute walk down to the cottage an(URL HIDDEN)minute walk back up.

FREE On-property Parking is provided for AWD OR 4WD vehicles.
FREE parking is available for 2 wheel drive vehicles at the top of our access road.

CLEATOR ROAD SHUTTLE
Are you nervous about driving down our access road? Do you have physical conditions that would exclude you from the walking up and down the driveway? Inquire about our Cleator Road Shuttle. The shuttle is a $40 service to assist you with your arrival and departure. Please schedule at least 5 days in advance. The availability to schedule our shuttle driver is not guaranteed.

The Lazy Bowen Hideaway is remotely poised on a cliff just above the Beach. Access to the Beach and the neighborhood Swimming Dock is 1 minute down the trail, ideal for Swimming, Boating, Fishing or Kayaking. The Dock is available May – September.

Bowen Island is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy a round of Golf at the 9 hole Bowen Golf course. Rent a Kayak for lessons or a trip around Bowen. Hiking trails abound or Bike the hills of the island for a great workout.

Bowen Island is situated near many other destinations. A trip from Rural Bowen Island to downtown Vancouver is only a 20-minute ferry ride and a 20-minute drive. Or catch the Water Taxi for a 30-minute boat trip to Granville Island. Snow skiing is a 90-minute drive up the new Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler or 30 minutes to Cypress Ski Resort.

Vancouver International Airport is a 60-minute drive plus the 20-minute ferry ride from Bowen Island.

The Lazy Bowen Hideaway is located in the very quiet and friendly Eagle Cliff district with our neighbour being the 2010 Bowen Citizen of the year and president of Tourism Bowen Island, Murray. He loves introducing himself and meeting our guests as you might pass him while parking on the property. All homes are nestled among the trees creating visual privacy and then open to spectacular water views.
