We are located in rural Normandy, France, 500m from a small village with shop/bar. Our home consists of an original house and adjacent barn conversion. We live in the barn conversion and it is the original house which is the accommodation offered here. The lounge has been maintained in the French style. The upstairs bedroom and ensuite bathroom are newly decorated. Separated from the main house by a thick granite wall, the accommodation has its own entrance.
We have a lovely large double guest room on the first floor of our rustic French farm house in the Normandy Countryside. The White Room has a super king bed & en suite bathroom. We welcome guests with children but the house is not toddler friendly, lots of uneven steps. We can accommodate babies as we have a cot. We have sheep, chickens, dogs and cats and well behaved pets who get along with dogs and cats are welcome.
Set in the heart of the Normandie countryside, this home, that is still under renovation, is ideal for relaxing at, for an overnight stay, or a longer visit in order to enjoy the attractions in the neighbourhood eg Mont St Michel, the D-day beaches, mediaeval towns, and beaches on the Cherbourg peninsular, or in the area around St Malo. We welcome singles, couples of all descriptions, families (although unsuited to very young children under 3), and enjoy international as well as local guests.
