Let's stay healthy and active while traveling with 1.5 hours of hiking and circuit training on South Mountain. We'll meet at the Beverly Canyon Trailhead parking lot, hike 2 miles with 252 ft. of elevation gain and complete 2 stregnth training circuits.

I'll take you through an energizing warm up to prepare our ligaments, joints, and muscles for the work they will do. Next we’ll take in views of Phoenix and Tempe while we complete a resistance routine to work our upper body and core. Then we’ll challenge our lower body and cardiovascular system with a hill climbing hike surrounded by the unique beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Finally we’ll focus on balance and flexibility as we cool down.

Book this cardio and stregnth combo to burn tons of calories, build strength in a beautiful setting, and finish feeling accomplished.

This experience is for all fitness levels. All routines can me modified for the individual. No experience is necessary, just an interest in sweating in the sunshine and getting fit.

The area was so nice along with the hike itself. We really enjoyed it. The workout was also nice since I’m not use to doing a workout during a hike, it was really cool.

Janelle was really sweet and very experienced! She made the time for me when our schedules didn’t initially line up. She made it a point to tell me about the nature around and shared some hiking tips for AZ. Overall, great experience - only wish it had been longer!

Janelle is an awesome guide and even better person. She's very thorough with her approach to health and wellness. The hike was awesome and she truly pushed us to be our greater selves. She was on time and gave us options regarding the hike based on our comfort/fitness level. We'll definitely be booking with her for our next trip!

This experience was amazing. Janelle is so knowledgeable of the land around her. It turned a way to exercise into a fun learning experience. I’m visiting Phoenix for the first time from Chicago and I’m so glad that this was one of my first experiences. I actually just shared her info with a friend who will be visiting Phoenix in May. I booked the experience late the night before and wasn’t sure if it was full. But to my surprise (because it was a weekday) it was just me. Also to my surprise, Janelle still came out and hiked with me just as if there was a group of us.

I went on this hike/ workout with Janelle in January- it was great warm weather and beautiful clear skies. I highly suggest this workout and circuit training workout to anyone, no matter the experience level. Janelle will ensure you feel comfortable with the movements and exercises. She is experienced in training all ages including kids-seniors. During the hike it was a pleasure to talk and get to know Janelle- she is extremely knowledgeable about hiking locations nearby, the nature, health and nutrition. Highly recommend this experience with Janelle!!
