Co będziecie robić
I shall come meet you at your accommodation or a mutually agreed place in Agra and then we shall jump straight into the action. We shall start by visiting a 400 year Mosque called Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) where shall talk about religions in India and the very interesting story of forlorn love behind this mosque. We shall then excite our taste buds at a very famous local eatery and learn about the daily breakfast of Agra's working class. We shall then get some pictures at an Indian Bridal wear shop, the owner of the shop is a dear friend and lets my guests try out and take pictures in the heavy Indian bridal wear. The tour shall then go on to visit a Shiva Temple, where we shall talk about Hinduism, the largest religion in India. We shall then take a cycle rickshaw ride through the busy streets and smell and sample Indian spices. Further, we shall end the tour with a visit to Mehtabh Bagh, the garden across the Taj Mahal to get some lovely views of the Taj Mahal around sunset. Be prepared to walk a bit and wear comfortable shoes, this is going to be a treat for your senses.
Born and brought up in Agra, tourism is in my blood and a 40-year-old family business legacy in the travel industry. I strongly believe that the true Indian culture still eludes most tourists who only get a packaged view of India from car windows and through the balconies of luxury hotels. I have been showing people around the streets of Old Agra for 5 years now and have won awards for these tours along with many friendships in the city and around the world. Studying and travelling to more than 18 countries, I have realised that there is a massive misconception of India, outside the country. Back in my hometown, I started on my own mission to change this image and give travellers a true view of real Indian hospitality even in the busiest of markets and streets.
The tour wont be as fun if you dont try out some local food, I shall provide Puris and Indian curries to taste on the tours
Water always help, we shall give a bottle of packaged mineral water.
