Co będziecie robić

We will meet at the historic Niagara Glen and proceed down into the Gorge. I will show guests the ancient remnants of the origional rivers edge, explaining the history of the Niagara River and Niagara Falls. You will learn about the 325 million year old fossils, ancient creatures called Trilobites. Further into the gorge, you will learn of the potholes carved through solid rock by a relentless river. All the wild hiking through an amazing Carolinian Forest. At the bottom of the Niagara Gorge, we will experience the power of the Niagara River up close and personal. All during this hike, we will pass massive boulders that fell from the top of an ancient waterfall, and climb through the caves and passages formed by these boulders. You will have the chance to collect amazing photos and memories, while gaining 18000 years worth of knowledge!

Gdzie będziecie

We will be visiting the Niagara Glen Nature Preserve, a protected area full of geological history. A stairway will lead us to 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) of rugged paths that wind through this pristine pocket of Carolinian Forest, past prehistoric geological formations, wild flora and fauna. The Niagara Glen and Niagara Gorge is an amazing piece of history that must be explored first hand.

Lenny has excellent knowledge of the area. He knew the trails really well and showed us lots of interesting features and spots we would not have seen on our own!

Lenny was one of the most knowledgeable nature and hiking guides I've met and the guy knows his stuff. He was concerned about the safety of others and this included other people in the park as well. It was magical to see the side of Niagara that you don't get to see often and it was worth the 3 hours spent hiking with Lenny. We met and made friends with another couple from Ottawa and it was a blast hiking with them as well. The hike back up is a little bit tedious so bring 2 bottles of water as you will need it for sure. I highly recommend Lenny for this experience as long as you can follow instructions and be respectful to nature when you are on this hike. 5 stars all the way. Thanks Lenny for the experience :)

My Son and Daughter loves this. They learned a lot and loved the nature. Lenny made it special and fun for them both. They both said they would love to do this again. Highly recommended!

Among the most fun things to do in Niagara Falls is off the beaten path of Clifton hill. The hike is scenic and very enjoyable, and Lenny was a fun guide that kept things moving at a good pace and was very knowledgeable and social. Considering how many lost/confused travelers we came across on the way, it's definitely worth the $30 for this guided experience that's much more meaningful than just walking through on your own without learning much about the history or ecology of the area.
