Co będziecie robić
This is a "photographic street safari" in one of Valletta's most famous suburbs - Hamrun. You will start with a cup of tea or coffee in one of Malta's most famous and historic patisseries and end up in one of Malta's newest wine bars - for a drinks (wine if you are happy with that) and a delicious platter of fresh Maltese cheeses and salads. Participants will explore and photograph as they tour the rich culture of this village - from a gun placement that fired its cannons at French forces occupying Valletta in 1800, to one of the last remaining stations left over from Malta's only train line, to visiting some of Malta's few train remaining shoe makers and bamboo cane artisans, to 1920's shop fronts, to architectural oddities, back streets, and hidden gems. The tour ends with a glass of wine (or two) and a platter of enticing Maltese delicacies in Malta's only Vespa-themed wine bar with a secret room you will want to be photographed in! This is a photographic safari with a difference - seeing Malta's traditional life close up. Street Photography is an opportunity to look at Malta through the eyes of the people on the street. Malta culture from the life of its streets!

GUEST QUOTE: "We both thoroughly enjoyed John's photo safari through Hamrun, in fact we were so interested in what we saw on the walk, that we made another trip back to the neighbourhood later in the week. John has thoroughly researched his project, and knows the area and local residents well. It was a fascinating insight."
