We start off my house in Stock Island, we'll cross the US 1 towards the golf course and start our descent onto the Key West downtown biking along the Gulf of Mexico on the North Shore, learning about the hurricane season and sharing my experience going thru 3 of them and how we did survive it, learning about different industries such a fishing, sponges, cigars before the main tourist industry starts in 1958. We'll then arrive at the Truman Ave crossroads and bike thru little lanes like Pine St and learn about different botanical and tropical plants and will see some landmarks such as the Valentine tree and historical houses, going thru the cemetery and his famous epitaphs and headstones quotes, then move to the famous historic busy seaport, continuing to Duval St, Sloppy Joe and Captain Tony's first bar. Then we'll go to Mallory Square.
I will point different museums such as the Shipwreck Museum, Mel Fisher and more. We'll then move on to Whitehead St and pass by Hemingway House, the lighthouse and go all the way to the Southernmost Point of the Continental USA.
Then we'll take the South bike route along our famous beaches, Casa Marina first hotel and all the Flagler story.
