First up I will give you your chiller bag to collect the meal ingredients included in the tour, the wine and any other shopping you might want to do. My tour takes you to my favourite stalls in the market where we will meet the stall holders, hear their stories and try some of their specialty produce that I have organised for you. Tastings include local artisan made cheese, yoghurt, honey, almonds and wild game meats and indigenous herbs. Then the real fun starts when we visit the stalls that have cooked your meal. You get to choose the dishes and wines to take home that are included in the tour. This means tasting the types of olives you like before selection, choosing the classic minestrone or hearty pasta dish and buttery garlic bread then onto the best cake shop in the market, it has dozens of freshly made homestyle cakes to choose from. The stall will package them up for safe keeping in your chiller bag. The hardest part is choosing. Then I will take you to the Wine Cellars to meet my wine mate to select your fave style of South Australian wine to take home. Or maybe you would like a bottle of sparkling Italian style prossecco?
