Climbing gently up the hill onto the heather moorland we will see wildlife and stunning views
We will get immersed into nature in the style of Juhn Muir allowing us to experience the beautiful environment . we may see grouse, curlew, lapwings, golden plovers merlins and other birds of prey such as short eared owls.We maybe lucky enough to see hares. If it is hot we may see lizards and aders
On the way back we will pass through the the National Park Moors Centre where we may pause
when we return you could call at Danby Bakery for refreshments
Please note if the weather is exceptionally bad on the day of the walk I reserve the right to postpone to another suitable date or offer a full refund. Walk takes 3 and a half hours over the moorland.

Lovely, enjoyable walk. Very friendly and knowledgeable. An experience we would both like to do again with the family. Gaynor is an expert in this locality and has knowledge of animals and species of plants within this area. Such a peaceful, calm therapeutic day. Worked a night shift and turned up late but met everyone on Danby Beacon, where they told us some historical information and showed us the foot paths across the Heather. Sturdy boots are a must - mine were fashion boots but I coped.
