In and out of the port of New Orleans, Eric is a descendent of French pirates who sailed the high seas of the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. Even in recent generations, both his maternal and paternal grandfathers worked in the port of New Orleans importing fruit from the Caribbean and Latin America. Being the first land lover in his family, he traded in the helm for handle bars.

A native of New Orleans, Eric posses a knowledge of the city that exceeds research, he is a product of its culture. From rolling in Mardi Gras parades in his youth, getting his first high school job as a beignet chef at Cafe du Monde, and being steeped in our city's customs his whole life. He not only lives in New Orleans - New Orleans lives in him. Eric's tours are well rounded and offer both the better and lesser known narratives of New Orleans history.

Eric was an amazing tour guide and provided a fun and friendly atmosphere through which we learned some really cool history about the city. I highly recommend this tour for any other first-time visitors to New Orleans, or anyone looking to get some light exercise while getting to know the historical areas of town.

Eric was an awesome tour guide. We saw places that we would not have seen if we were walking or driving by. He answered all of our questions and even others we would not have thought to ask. We rode through different parts of the city and felt safe throughout the tour. This is a must!! Id totally do it again!

This was fantastic! Right from the start, Eric greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel so welcome. The bikes are super quaint and very comfortable to ride. I loved biking through parts of the city that I otherwise I would have missed. Eric provided a funny, detailed, and entertaining history about culture, architecture, and politics! He was very entertaining and it was just a highlight of my trip to take this tour. Highly recommend!

A MUST-DO when in NOLA! Eric's tour was awesome and gave us a chance to get out of the French Quarter and see the REAL New Orleans. His bicycles are very comfy with great baskets for carrying some stuff (water, camera, purse, etc.), and it's a casual fun ride (not strenuous at all) for any level. I loved Eric's stories and history, and it was cool to see the city from a local's perspective. I'd recommend this tour to anyone!

We learned so much about the city from history to cemetery to jazz. Eric was knowledgable and passionate about his personal connection and understanding of the city. We have traveled all over the world and this is one of our all time favorite tours.
