Co będziecie robić

We have made all the necessary adjustments to ensure our studio remains a safe and comfortable environment for our customers and staff. But do not fear! Our studio changes will not affect your experience here at Loop of the Loom. Make memories, make art, have fun!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

When you step into Loop of the Loom, light music and cheerful colors invite you to a pre-set loom waiting for you. In this experience, you will create your own in our peaceful and meditative zen weaving dojo. Within a minute you will learn to start weaving by yourself. Don’t worry—it’s very easy and fun! As your session progresses, we will be on hand to answer any questions and help any time you need us.

ZEN WEAVING IS YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY.

Be open-minded and follow what you like. Relax…this is "Zen weaving". It will allow you to find tranquility and relaxation in the rhythm of movement and color.

NO MISTAKES!

You can weave freely as you like. Unlike conventional weaving, we don't teach you how to make fabric like machine made. We always try to do what only human beings can do. Let your creative mind find your true self through playing and exploring with yarns from over 500 colorful and natural materials.

TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN!

In a two hour session, you can complete a tapestry-size woven piece to take home!
Other things to note
To maintain a safe and responsible learning environment, Loop of the Loom has put the following measures in place; reduced class sizes, increased cleaning + ventilation, extended break between classes, mandatory temperate checks + PPE for all staff, alternative teaching done at 6 ft by demonstration

I'm a certified instructor of SAORI Weaving since 2005. SAORI is a free-form of weaving which was developed in Japan based on the Zen philosophy. After I studied in Japan and continued to practice, I founded Loop of the Loom where everyone can weave for self-healing, self-discovery, and self-expression. I've been guiding thousands of beginners and apprentices from all over the world. Weaving has changed their life for the better. SAORI facilitates mindful meditation and lets us awaken to human equality - as a leader of the SAORI community, this is something I would like to share with you.

I had a great time learning how to weave. It was my first such experience. There were so many colours to choose from. The host explained the process well and also gave me space to experiment. She did check on me from time to time. The place was clean and hygienic and safety precautions have been taken.

As a person who always looks for something new to do every day, Yukako has offered me an experience that I could never have expected. Yukako seems very experienced with weaving and this comes through her instructions and examples. She always offers us new things to do as we were getting used to the basic steps to weave correctly. The workshop has a nice minimalistic feel to it and this helps me feel concentrated on my weaving creation and determined to create something unique. At the end of the session, I got to keep my own creation and talked with Yukako about the art world I never knew.

A relaxing, unique crafty experience that was calming, interesting, and creative! Yukako is a great teacher and knew exactly how much time to spend showing and teaching us versus letting us fly on our own, which was awesome and empowering!
