I would love to take anybody who have the same interests for a 5 hour bicycle trip (with several stops, snacking time, and lunch) to historical and cultural sites in Jakarta. This capital city of Indonesia has a lot of story to share, and I would show you what Jakarta has really been from the era of Dutch Colonization, Independence, Cold War, New Order until the current Reformation period. I will also bring my photo and video collection of old Jakarta to see the rapid change and development of the city. During the trip, I will take guests to ride a bicycle along Jakarta roads which some of them are located in the Sunday's Car Free zone and to other interesting places (located not in the Car Free zone). We will pass through beautiful and historical buildings, statues and city landmarks where you can take photos whenever you'd like. The trip will start at the Dutch old town ("Kota Tua)". At the Dutch old town, you can rent a unique and retro bicycle with bright colour as shown in one of the photos in this webpage. At the end of the trip, we will have lunch for which I will introduce you to Indonesian food. The end point of this trip will be somewhere in or nearby Senayan area (Note: this trip is NOT a roundtrip).
