Along our tour "The Greedy Milan" you will get to know some of the most characteristic patisserie specialties in Milan:

- Cannoncini: typical dessert of northern Italy and especially of the area between Milan and Novara. A fragrant, puff pastry, filled with custard or zabaione. You will taste the best Milan cannoncino.

- Panettone: the symbol of Milanese bakery tradition. Known throughout Italy and the world, the classic Milanese panettone has raisins and candied fruit.

- Marron Glacé: a very ancient dessert, simple, but with a great taste. The marron glacé is a carefully selected chestnut that is immersed for several days initially in water, then in sugar syrup and, finally, glazed, to acquire an inimitable flavor.

- Pasticceria pastries: well known and appreciated throughout Italy. It is the custom to bring them to the family Sunday lunch. Of various shapes, sizes and colors, pastry chefs have invented all types and it is precisely from mignon pastry that you can understand the talent and the art spirit of a great chef.

- Pralines: are you chocolate lovers? You can not miss the prized Milan pralines. Handmade chocolate sweets filled with fruit or other chocolate.

This tour is available at 3 pm and at 9.30 am, please contact us to ask if it's available:) The tour takes place through the central streets of Milan, the most beautiful in the city. Starting from the view of the Indro Montanelli gardens, we will go into the picturesque area of Brera, the artists' quarter, and end the tour at the sight of the Duomo's spires.

È stata un'esperienza molto carina in cui abbiamo potuto visitare pasticcerie che non conoscevamo nonostante fossero antiche e un pilastro nella pasticceria milanese. Inoltre abbiamo potuto scegliere tra una varietà abbastanza ampia di pasticcini. Abbiamo passato quindi un pomeriggio diverso, in compagnia di una guida molto alla mano e simpatica che è riuscita, nonostante noi fossimo di Milano, a portarci per stradine più sconosciute e meno turistiche facendoci scoprire aspetti di una milano un po' diversa!

Great experience for those with a sweet tooth. We went to four different places and got to taste some amazing sweets and pastries from each one together with a cup of tea or coffee. Daniele was very attentive and the conversation flowed easily, she had some wonderful knowledge about the history of Milan as well that was an added bonus.

Enjoyed a relaxing 2+ hour (it went by fast!) stroll while checking out various bakeries in Milan. We tried a few different and distinct types/styles. I also enjoyed walking from place to place and seeing different neighborhoods and how our guide pointed out interesting things about the city. We had a rather big group (i think 3? families and a couple joined the tour that day) but it didn’t feel like we were a huge tourist group - Daria did a great job of keeping us all on track & together, and it was nice meeting friendly people from around the globe! I got to try a few new desserts and a special coffee drink, which I enjoyed!! Mmm. It was a great tour and a nice way to experience Milan. Grazie!!!

This was my first tour in Milan ever and it was so worth it!! Walking around the local streets and all the quiet alleys to find Milans hidden gems... it was an extraordinary experience... it made me fall in love with the a city that is definitely so much more than the "fashion capital of the world"... thank you for a great time!!

The tour really was fantastic! I was able to look how the cakes were made, could try a lot of tasty pastries and tartlets and also spezial coffee. I´d book it again!

This was one of my favorite experiences during my trip to Milan. If you love food (especially sweets) take this tour. The host took me places I never would have found without her. I went back to two of the shops a few days later to get more delicious goodies!
