We will meet at 10:30 am near the farm house and we will acquaint with each other while preparing a refreshing drink. As soon as we are all motivated to get working, we will prepare the table with all the ingredients and tools and we will begin making the dough. Once we have kneaded the dough, it will require a hour to rest; it is during this time that we will prepare the pasta sauce and discover the herb garden! Having agreed upon the type of pasta, it is time to stretch and shape it, lay the dining table on the garden, and finally cook our meal. Last but not least we hope the boys will bring some good wine on their way back from the vineyard.

Hello pasta lovers!
My name is Giulia, I come from Verona and I passionately make pasta since my grandmother Ester taught me.
After having studied patisserie I came to live at Le Vigne, a farm house from the 17th century. It is here that we work the land making among other things wine, olive oil and cheese.
Very much looking forward to sharing the farm life and preparing fresh pasta!

The building is a 17th-century Tuscan farm house that has sadly remained uninhabited for long. Since the beginning of this year we are slowly but surely bringing it back to life. This country house in the midsts of olive groves, cypress trees, vineyards, and our beloved vegetable garden is where we happily live

Great experience making fresh pasta by hand. Guilia is very knowledgeable and a wonderful cook. The best part of the experience was sitting to eat the meal we created. It felt like having a meal with an old friend.

Absolutely magical day for our family, one we won't forget. We felt like we'd been part of her family and part of her beautiful land for ages, even though we'd just met. If perfection in cooking is your goal, she's a thoughtful, elegant teacher. the steps she taught us will remain for a long time. No trip to the Tuscany region is complete without this experience.

Esperienza fantastica! Per noi che viviamo in cittá è stata un’esperienza unica trascorrere queste ore fuori dal tempo, in un ambiente contadino intatto, lasciato incontaminato proprio per la scelta di vita di Luigi e Giulia. Oltre alla scuola di pasta fatta in casa di Giulia, davvero divertente e buonissima, abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare i loro biscotti, i formaggi e il pane particolare, il vino e l’olio fatto da loro con sistemi tradizionali, per non parlare dell’ottima grappa anche questa distillata in casa. Il tutto circondati da animali da cortile allevati liberi, tra cui tacchini, oche e caprette socievoli.

We visited Giulia at the end of October, 2021. It was a grey, cloudy day but very soon after meeting her with her warm smile, the clouds were gone. The beautiful interior of the rustic kitchen and dining room, dominated by a huge, century-old fireplace, warmed our hearts, and together with a cup of coffee, the presentation of the class began. From the warm welcome till the end of the class, everything was a wonderful experience - the softest focaccia straight from the oven, excellent home made extra virgin olive oil and fine Chianti wine, fresh pasta proudly made by ourselves. We learned how to make tagliatelle in the traditional way - with a rolling pin and a lot of passion - the way Italian nonnas have been doing it for centuries . The delicious pasta was then cooked and shared with Luisa and her friends while dining around a large table with a kind of medieval atmosphere: the beautiful rustic interior, decorated with pots and pans hanging on the walls, crackling fire, delicious pasta with pesto and veggies, dark rich chianti in the glasses.. Wonderful !We highly recommend a pasta class with this energetic and passionate young woman, whose true calling is gastronomy, despite her degree in Italian literature. She will undoubtedly pass on her genuine passion for food to you. We wish her a lot of success, and may all her gastro dreams come true !

Whatever you have expected- it will be different. You will not find the spotless luxury kitchen but you will witness an Absolute passion for cooking a food, that Giulia has. Her love for cooking and deep knowledge that she is keen to share is contagious. We have absolutely loved to stay in the house together with my husband, also the 12 years old son and learned to cook tagliatelle. She has also prepared the best focaccia we ever had. I can only recommend.
