Malaysia is made up of multiple ethnicity groups with each contributing its own unique taste, texture, history and origin to make up a highly diverse Malaysian cuisine. It's true, Malaysia is a melting pot of rich culture and food diversity with each has its own specialties. There might be a lot of food tours out there, but not many which focuses on Malay delicacies as it may be viewed as complex. Let me be your guide. Make your Malaysian experience a wholesome one.

Last but not least, we'll be dining at surviving Malay village, Kampung Baru in the city centre where is remains essentially a country village, the symbolic heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Malay identity and large tract undeveloped area. However, Kampung Baru is targeted for a historic redevelopment, part of larger plans to upgrade to new business centre. This place is a gem for best Malay dishes and this is where the true locals go to eat.

Fadly was an amazing host, had a deep knowledge of Malay cuisine. Really cool experience trying unique fruits even some different vegetables and even herbs! You will walk from location to location which is great because it's alot of food that you will have. Many things you will try that you normally will not find yourself on the menu. Highly recommend to start this when you are in KL.

This is an excellent tour that will give you the opportunity to try all sorts of local food and learn a bit about Malay culture. Fadly is very energetic and passionate about food - he will teach you a lot and encourage you to try a bunch of new things. I am a pescatarian, so had to get a couple of special dishes, but still had plenty to eat. The experience felt very authentic, as you will get to go to the local farmers market and restaurants that tourists don’t typically visit. Great start to my first trip to Malaysia!

This was a great experience. We ate at some places I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own or know what to order - and on top of that it was great having Fadly explain exactly what it was that were eating, and give a bit of information and backstory. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Brilliant tour which showed us parts of the city we would not have found ourselves and introduced us to foods we would not have known about.
Fadly was a great host with a deep understanding of local foods and restaurants. He was great at getting us to try different foods - without any pressure if there was a legit reason one person didn’t want to - and giving us context to Malaysian approach to cooking.
I would 100% recommend this as an experience in Kuala Lumpur which shouldn’t be missed.
