Welcome to my kitchen, where we will cook a healthy meal, based on the Mediterranean tradition.
We will first introduce ourselves and check what is growing in the vegetable garden, while drinking a glass of juice or a cup of herbal tea.
After moving inside, I will describe the menu, the recipes and their nutritional properties: be prepared to cook a four course meal, with an appetizer, a main dish, a side dish and a dessert! The meal will be inspired by the Mediterranean tradition and we will use - as much as possible - local products, like, for example, herbs, vegetables from the garden and our own extra virgin olive oil.
The next step is in the kitchen, where you will find a printed copy of the recipes, the ingredients and the tools needed for food preparation. I will be there to guide you and to teach you little tricks to make your dish safe, healthy and tasty.
And last, but not least, we will all sit down and enjoy the dinner.
A take home message? Healthy meals are tasty and quick to prepare!
Other things to note
I'll try to keep the menu as seasonal as possible: do not be surprised if I will not offer a tomato salad in winter, or a black kale soup in the middle of summer.
Let me know if you have any kind of dietary allergies/restrictions, so that I can set up an appropriate menu, suitable for all guests.

You'll be in my modern kitchen full of light: CUCINA³ – from the theory to the pan – is a Food and Health Lab in the Tuscan hills north of Florence, 30 minutes from the city center. The kitchen is in a recently restored barn - dating from the 1700s - that belonged to the Medici Villa of Pratolino.
The building is perfectly blended in surrounding nature: the big windows are like real size paintings of the Tuscan landscape.
