This is an intense adventure for the mind and senses - three hours that immerse you in the culture and history of Vienna's past and present, as well the irresistible atmosphere of the Vienna "Kaffeehaus" Culture. We meet in the center of the "Inner City", and on my very special route, we dive right into this world heritage site with amazing stories from past and present.
After having a look at St. Stephan’s Cathedral we turn to St. Peter’s Barock Church, from the “Graben” we head to the Imperial Palace and learn about the history of Vienna from the Romans to the Austrian-Hungarian Empire that perished 100 years ago, including the Spanish Riding School and the longest-reigning emperor Franz Joseph I as well as his legendary wife Sisi. Further stops on our journey through the unique history and culture of Vienna are the Burggarten, the Holocaust Memorial, the State Opera, and the magnificent Ring Boulevard.
We take a short look at the Albertina, the “Kunsthistorisches Museum” and the Museumsqurtier to give you a first impression if you would like to come back later and visit these museums. To complete the experience, we visit my favorite elegant (non-tourist) Viennese "Kaffehaus", enjoy the special atmosphere, have one of the endless variations of coffee and try one of the typical warm sweet dishes - and believe me, it makes a difference whether you show up there with a local!
