We'll make an olive and wine tasting and we'll make several home made pastas immersed in the charming Tuscan country side. The villa where we cook is named Tenuta Dolciano and is back in 1635, which was bought by Francesco 1 dei Medici afterwards
In 1769, Pietro (Granduca of Tuscany 1765-1790 and afterwards emperor of Austria) personally goes to visit the Tenuta and in 1777, he starts the extension and renovation of the buildings, that will continue until the unification of Italy.
During the class we'll be happy to tell you some of the wine and oil history and general facts of Dei Medici Family.
We'll cook and lunch together and after the class you will visit a beautiful church, ordered by the Granduca, who in 1787 establishes the parish under the title of San Leopoldo. For all the inhabitants of Dolciano. The Church has a gateway with 6 pillars, with Ionic capellito Frescos adorn the interior and the architrave portal on the porch. We'll also visit the other parts of the villa.

Hadde en veldig interessant og lærerik dag hos Alina. Hun lærte meg flere pastavarianter, pastasaus og en enkel og veldig god tiramisu. Fikk lære om olivenolje også, og smakte på deres egen nydelig, litt pikante olje. Etter matlagingen var det omvisning i en liten vakker kirke på eiendommen og i et museum med spesielt mange fuglearter. Dette var en opplevelse helt utenom det vanlige. Fikk med meg restene av pasta og tiramisu med hjem. Sterkt anbefalt.

Alina is a very nice host and very welcoming. Cooking and eating was fun and informative. We had a very nice evening! The place is also quite nice especially in the evenings.

We had a really nice evening with great music while making 4 different kinds of fresh pasta and tiramisu. Also a lovely tour of the estate and its museum. Alina is fun, personable, and a joy to spend an evening with.

Alina was a wonderful knowledgable host. It was such a laid back atmosphere, my husband and I felt totally at ease. Nothing was difficult, we are both determined to make our own pasta more. The recipes are easy and the sauces delicious. The place itself is stunning. We highly recommend this experience, it was a lot of fun.

La scuola di cucina di alina nella tenuta di Dolciano è stata un esperienza bellissima . Alina e’ molto attenta alle norme covid ed alla pulizia e soprattutto alla qualità delle materie prime da usare nelle preparazioni culinarie . Mi ha accolto con un gran sorriso e mi ha fatto subito sentire a mio agio . Abbiamo preparato deliziosi primi piatti : ravioli con pistacchi, gnudi di ricotta di Pienza e Tagliatelle al ragout. Mangiare sul bel terrazzo è stata una goduria . L atmosfera della tenuta e’ molto suggestiva ed al termine dell’esperienza culinaria ho fatto un bel giro nel giardino e visitato il museo, un autentico tuffo nel passato . Visitando il museo ho scoperto usi e costumi di un tempo passato ma non troppo. Il Museo offre una testimonianza unica sul lavoro e sulla vita nelle campagne tra la fine dell'800 e gli inizi del 900, davvero interessante . In conclusione in esperienza da ripetere e che consiglio a gruppi di amici o famiglie con bambini
