Co będziecie robić
We guide you to experience the beautiful private Tea Farms hidden on the high mountains of Shizuoka, which are not accessible to the public; where we take a short hike among the wild tea bushes on the highest point of the mountain, then we continue to hike down to the farm and walk alongside the tea bushes while watching the scenic view! Next we go to the tea hut located on the side of the mountain and sit down for a tea tasting session of various types of Japanese tea, as we watch the stunning mountain view! We talk about tea as we are tasting and indulge you in all of the Tea knowledge you can get! Once we are finished, we allow you to freely walk around the tea farm, enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos and videos, touch the tea bushes and pick tea leafs if you desire to do so! Then, we guide you inside of the Tea Processing Factory near the Tea Farm. In the factory, you will learn about the whole process of tea production by seeing tea processing machines. After the factory tour, we wrap up and take you back to the station! Due to the seasonal nature of Tea Farming, the Tea Factory is not always operational. Please always be safe and respectful at all times. Please note that the activities might change according to the weather. Also, we might be available even if the experiences are not on the calendar.
I grew up in the tea farms in Shizuoka prefecture, which is the largest tea producing area in Japan. I left my job to pursue my dream of spreading the beauty of Japanese tea, and along the way, I met my tea loving friend, Sandra Toma, and we founded The Tea Bridge and started holding Tea Tours together. Sandra Toma will be my co-host when holding the tours. We strive to the bridge that connects tea lovers around the world to Japanese tea and tea farms, and support Japanese tea farmers. Our work and activities have been recognized by the media, such as Japan Times, KYODO NEWS, and NHK WORLD.
