Co będziecie robić

This experience is for the ones who hate the typical scripted, limited time and overpriced tour. Quito is full of stories, tales and scandals (like in telenovelas). We will explore them while we walk so you can be at the scene where the different events occurred.

Starting at Basilica Del Voto Nacional Church, you will have a breathtaking view of the city. This is the perfect spot for a selfie or your next cover photo. Here you will also hear our first conspiracy theory.

Next, we will head over Calle de las 7 Cruces where the next stop will be my house in the historic district, which has belonged to my family for almost 300 years now. There I’ll explain a lot of architectural facts about the colonial era, tell you some of the stories that those walls have seen, and tell you a real horror story.

Continue our tour to Plaza Grande (Freedom Square) you will get facts about how revolution came to Latin America. You will be in the Colonial city center and be able to understand more of the Spanish architectural influence. Tales about romance, life lessons and even former president gossip will be told.

Next, El Sagrario, is the perfect stop to explain the importance of Catholicism and how the revolution started.

Our final stop will be La Compañía or The Golden Church as as it’s also known. There you will be in front of miracles and a astonishing experience of art in every form.
Other things to note
As COVID restriction still on, some churches or places might be closed. Try no not to carry jewelry and overweight, for most tourist altitude is a problems, so bring the necessary. You will be facing another culture so be open minded and let it wow you.

Hi! I’m Antonio but you can call me Tony.

Some people love to dance, draw, drive, etc., but I love to travel and host people in my city. I love to meet people and make them feel comfortable while they are visiting my country.
I love to bring people back in time with tales and interesting facts that are not written in history books.

As a Spanish descendant, my family has been involved in the public life of the city. My historic house in the city center will be the perfect place to tell you about the stories of the colonial era and help give you an idea of what it was like to live back in the 17th-century.

I love to create a interactive experience so I’ll be sharing stories, revealing conspiracy theories and more.

I can’t wait to show you my city while you try the best chocolate in the world, handmade by me, a profesional.

Antonio is an excellent guide and a friendly expert in the historical churches in Quito. He had a very well planned experience going from place to place and somehow tied all of the information together perfectly! He’s very thoughtful and let me know that if I wanted to stop to eat or shop around that we could do that. He showed me his family’s home, which has been owned by them for 200 years, and shared personal stories about small parts of his home. You can find any guide to tell you details if Quito’s churches, but Antonio’s explanations and shared stories are unique to him as a storyteller and a local. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the colonial architecture and anyone stopping through Quito! Ps, he gives out the most delicious handmade chocolates!

Antonio was very nice and very helpful. It was unfortunate that most things were closed because of it being New Year’s Day.
