Co będziecie robić
I will pick you up from central Kuta and my uncle will drive us to my village (Kukun). Once there, we will walk around Kukun and I'll tell you all about it. For us, it is one of the biggest Sasak villages (300 people) but I'm sure that's nothing compared to your cities! We will meet my neighbours and family, but we consider everyone in the village family. I will tell you about my culture, answer any questions you might have, and show you our traditional homes. We will later go to my house, where we will eat the delicious traditional Sasak food my mum prepared for you (all diets are welcome). We will eat with my mum, grandma (who has the biggest smile), uncle and nephews. If we're lucky, my dad will join too, although he usually works long hours in the rice fields. After you're full and happy, we will go to another Sasak traditional village (Sukarara village) and will show you our traditional way of living and how sarongs are made (they are a big part of Sasak culture!) and I will take you to see how our famous pottery is made. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to the initial location.
My name is Tomy but everyone calls me Mr. Happy —big, welcoming smiles run in my family. I am 18 years old, and studied tourism and guiding. I come from a traditional, hard-working Sasak family: my dad works long hours in the rice fields, my mum makes and sells sarongs, and I work at a popular restaurant and like to show people Lombok on the side (this is what really makes me happy!). I used to be one of those kids roaming around Kuta selling bracelets, that's how I learned English and where my passion for tourism began. You might have even bought a bracelet from me back then, I was a great young sales man:) My dream has always been to show the real Lombok to travelers, and I hope to do this for you!

The first stop will be my village, Kukun. It is one of the biggest Sasak villages, as we have 300 people living there! The locals are traditional, hard-working people. Common jobs there are working in rice fields, making sarongs or cooking, so we have great food! The second location will be Sukarara village, where we will see the traditional sarong and pottery-making.
