Most people want to visit Cleveland, but don't know where to begin. I am here to change that: I will show you three completely different faces of Cleveland, in three different neighborhoods.
We will meet in Ohio City, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cleveland. We will start our tour walking through the West Side Market, and Market Square area. As we walk, you will see six different murals! You will have the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful, ornate Victorian homes in the area. We will also see Franklin Castle.
Next, we will walk to Hingetown, a community rich with LGBTQ history and mom and pop shops. While you learn about the history of this artsy neighborhood, you will see 5 different murals commissioned from international artists such as Brazillian artist Ananda Nahu. You will have an opportunity to stop in some of the shops and taste some of the great food in the area as well.
Lastly, we will walk to the Gordon Square Arts District area and see some very adorable cartoon murals, as well as some more contemporary, geometric ones. This district has teamed up with LAND studio to install a series of 8 new murals. This up-and-coming neighborhood has art galleries, theaters, and great food, so the murals are just a bonus!
