Charming cottage on the Kennebec River on the outskirts of historic and beautiful Bath, Maine. Close to great shops, restaurants, and beaches, and just a 20-minute drive from Bowdoin College. Adjacent to a boat launch, and a short walk from the Bath Marine Museum and a scenic dog park.
Due to short-term lodging restrictions currently in Maine, I am asking that guests send a request to book to insure a problem free stay! The month of June and July are open for a 30 day stay or longer. We are booking short-term stays in August, the best month to be in Maine! You're invited to enjoy a tastefully furnished, private apartment among the treetops. Above our quiet home only two blocks from downtown Brunswick and central in the MidCoast area. We are blessed to own a lovely sea captain's home built in 1870 with all the charm that comes with an old, historic home, including a lovely garden. Though the house is large, the rooms are bright and cozy. It feels like the home hugs you :). Located in downtown Bath, we are a five minute walk to Front Street, and all the in-town amenities and charms Bath has to offer, including the park along the Kennebec River. Route 1 is immediately nearby, offering convenient access to the surrounding area.
